The food was really good, but as a student the tips is too much and the employee guy was very rude to me and my friends. Some of my friends and some students near by come to eat there also and he act very disrespectful toward us. I’m still a student, at least just tell us nicely but they just drop the bill case on the table and said you need to add more tips in a rude way, and we feel like they don’t give us respect at all.

So this was our first time at the Asian Wave, and it was exactly what we needed. I am presently in and out of the area for work so, if you’ve ever been in the same boat- you know how it is eating on the road. You need good food, to feel welcomed and to be able to come and go quick and easy. James - (our server) had a knack for when to chat, bring cheer, laughter and just as crucially when to give us space. He was the model of efficiency. The food was good, the hood portions - we split the black ribs- (highly suggest- especially if you’re from the west coast cause it is not on the pacific). I’m basic so I got the sesame chicken, and was shamed by the rest of the table who got the Duck Fajitas, and seafood curry. Everyone was very happy, the price was right, and while it was my first time. It will not be the last.

Now the food… absolutely delicious and unreal. This is the best Asian food I’ve had in my life. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality. The General Tso chicken is my favorite. It’s crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a perfect balance of sweet, savory and spicy. It hits every craving perfectly.
