One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The pita plate was so fresh and healthy I wish I lived closer and could come back more often. Staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was funny, helpful, and offered great service.Highly recommend!

It had been many years since my mother and I revisited the beloved old haunt, The Pub, where she and her wild friends once reigned over raucous political gatherings and danced until dawn at the Joyous Lake before stumbling home down Delisio Lane. Our recent visit was prompted by research for my memoir, and stepping into The Pub was like stepping back in time, evoking memories of my childhood spent wrestling with friends and spinning relentlessly on the old, worn bars of the porch balcony. The newly glassed-in patio offered a delightful spot to watch the street below. Manager and hostess June warmly welcomed us, exchanging stories of old school names and setting the atmosphere for a perfect walk down memory lane. Our server, the multi-talented Mark, whose family's roots run deep in the town, was patient, witty, and engaging, adding to the nostalgic charm of the lunch. Before we even delved into our meal, we treated ourselves to the fabulous Paper Plane cocktails, setting the stage for a memorable feast. The menu offered excellent gluten-free and vegetarian options, but as someone who seldom gets the chance to indulge in steamers, I savored every bite of the perfectly balanced butter, garlic, and crunchy bread, all complementing the tender seafood to perfection. We couldn't resist sharing the Spanakopita, and my mother, who claimed she'd only take a bite, ended up devouring her share. Fresh New England cod being a scarcity on the West Coast, we couldn't pass up the addictively delicious fish and chips. Basking in the sunny spot, we lingered over a gorgeous local Chardonnay until the sun began to set, reluctant to leave the warm embrace of The Pub's ambiance.Though my stomach wished for more room, I've already mentally bookmarked my selections for my next visit back east. The Pub's nostalgic charm, impeccable service, and delectable offerings make it a timeless gem that holds a special place in both my childhood memories and future culinary adventures.Dietary restrictions: Great VG and GF options and all are clearly marked on the menu

Awesome vibes (from a 20 something). Love having the option to run the music on the jukebox app.

I like a place that tells you exactly what it is on the sign. This is a PUB and they know bloody well what they're doing. Great tap selection, good, warm and welcoming atmosphere, a huge dining area and great food. We did a half portion of the loaded nachos and they we fantastic, even without the meat. I did the build your own burger with bacon, jalapeños and smoked gouda. She got the steak sandwich special with onions, mushrooms and swiss. The service was great and accommodating, and their desserts were fantastic. I got the key lime pie - delicious, and she got the carrot cake - towering!

Owner ruined our experience here. Server/bartender noticed I was not eating my dish (Spanakopita) and told me she could take it back for me. Owner came out and asked specifics about what I did not like. I told her and she ended up implying I like the frozen version of the dish (not true) and laughed mockingly as she said it. She overall put me down as she made fun of my tastes. This ruined such a great experience where I was left crying. The bartenders and servers though were PHENOMENAL. Owner could use some more people skills.

A great pub and eatery in the center of town. Rolled up to the bar where we enjoyed some delicious Bloody Marys accompanied with tarjin rubbed rims. The bar wasn't that big but we found seating on a sunny, cool Friday afternoon for lunch. The bartender was extremely friendly and offered suggestions on food and drinks. I ordered the quiche (which came with a small side of salad or fries: I opted for the salad) which was on the special menu and while it was tasty, it was one of the smallest pieces I've ever gotten for quiche. It was disappointing how tiny it was. My husband got the burger and it was fanatic and huge. Definitely filling and flavorful. Fries were yummy too. They seemed to have a nice dining area and a stage for music, though we didn't catch either.

My husband and I both got the dinner specials and they were absolutely delicious. I got salmon with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and he got the steak sandwich special which came with a side salad and he ordered an extra side of brussel sprouts. My salmon was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. My husband loved the cook on the steak sandwich. We will definitely be back.

Lots of choices but the burgers were a favorite! A little one the loud dude for two older ladies trying to catch up! But it didn't disappoint! The service was excellent!

Soo good!! Came in expecting basic pub food, left highly impressed. The buffalo wings are the best wings I've ever had (I crave them like everyday so buy at your own risk! lol), my fiancé got the steak sandwich which he said was delicious, and I got the chicken parm, which was okay! Fries are super crispy and the ambiance is very cute! Would definitely come back!

Best fish and chips I think I have ever had! Batter was light, crispy and flavorful. Fries were also crispy and done perfectly. We ate the bar as the dining room was closed. Bartender provided great service and conversation.

Was in town for the day, did an early lunch stop right when they opened; the staff were all very courteous, and the food was excellent. Kudos to Mark our waiter, as he was very cool and attentive. For a first time visit to the Woodstock area, this will be one of our future go-to's on the next visit.

Crowded and the cyclists seem to be trying to convince people not to come. My assumption, of course, based on their rude and ignorant behavior. Maybe the state should make bike days and walk days? It’s really flat and a great walk for people who aren’t looking for a hike, but want to get into nature?

Amazing stop after a beautiful hike at the Overlook Mountain. The food here was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Bison Burger with Fries, my companion ordered the Pub Burger with Fries. Hands down, such great choices and delicious meals! The service here was spectacular, with everyone being so sweet and welcoming. The staff here was highly attentive and very kind! It was a beautiful day and they opened the doors to let the air/sun in! Such a great spot, you'd be a fool to overlook this spot.

A gluten-free gem in Woodstock! The fish and chips are so good, everything had a perfect crispy bite. The fries were perfectly seasoned, but the fish was incredible. I could have eaten this dish every day tbh. The knowledgeable staff and allergy-friendly options are always greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, Pub!
