Our meal and service were great. It would have been nicer not to sit right in the middle of the restaurant. It was a little hard to talk.

Always a great meal here. And they're remodeling the place so it's all Shiney and new inside.

The waitress wasn't organized. My food was cold and the order was wrong. It took forever to get my appetizer . The only thing the waitress could say was I'm very busy and I will be back. Ask for water several times . Waste of $60 will not go back again.

I was not a fan, there are many better Mexican options out there.

The chips and salsa are out of this world, and the chicken and rice soup is phenomenal! Great people and outstanding food!

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, the official capital of everything Tex-Mex. The food at Don Pancho's is authentic Tex-Mex, and very good. Except for the fact that the staff is not Mexican and does not speak Mexican, it is just like a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. And it is much better than the food at Jalisco.

If you're seeking a dining experience that will leave you questioning every life choice that led you to this moment, Don Panchos' is the place for you. My visit yesterday was nothing short of a gastronomic horror show. I ordered the arroz con pollo, and I swear, I was the worst I ever tried.

The dish was a monstrosity. Imagine chewing on a damp sponge soaked in expired chicken broth, with bits of "chicken" that were chopped up into pieces of powder, resembling something you'd find in the bottom of a vacuum cleaner bag. Each bite was a new low in culinary despair. The only remotely redeeming aspect of my visit was the Coca-Cola I ordered. It was the one oasis in a desert of dreadful dining.

I am still mad at myself for not turning around and going somewhere else.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Don Panchos like the plague. Unless you're into food that tastes like it was cooked with a side of misery and regret. This place is a culinary crime scene. Terrible place. Do not go there.

PS: This is NOT Tex Mex

I have been going to Don Pancho's for years. We just love their food. Even under new owners it is still amazing. Food is still good and looks so much better.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was 12 years old, 2 years after it opened. I was partially raised in the southwest, and I loved the food at Don's because it was authentic Mexican food. I moved to Florida 35 years ago, and one of the highlights of coming home to Ohio is to visit Don Panchos; however, this visit was beyond disappointing. I came to find out that the restaurant sold to a new owner. Unfortunately, the new owner did not buy the recipes; without having the recipes, this new owner will struggle to be successful. The food was some of the worst I've ever had. The new owner bought a restaurant with a 54-year-old tradition of serving amazing food, and not buying the recipes was a huge mistake. I will not return.
