Not at all familiar with Colombian food, but this place made me a fan.The server was very pleasant and took time to help use decipher the menu and discover items we would like. We started with the Pataconcitos, highly recommend.I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, per the menu "Typical peasant platter.." If peasants eat this well in Colombia, then sign me up. Everything on the patter was amazing.Ready to return when we're back in the area.

We stopped in as we were staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door. This was a hidden gem we found while searching for a place to eat. Man...what an amazing find. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a big friendly smile. Our waitress came to the table and we had some questions about their offerings. She thoroughly and patiently answered all of our questions. Excellent service hands down. We ordered the rib eye steak which came with rice, potatoes and plantains. My wife ordered the bandeja paisa. Super delicious. If you are in the area, stop by and delight yourself with great food and great people that have pride in their establishment.

The very best Columbian food in the Dayton area. We especially enjoy the hot chocolate with cheese. (This is good, really good!)

The food is delicious but the attention in this place from the waiters is terrible. They don't even wait for someone to finish eating and they are already passing the bill and the next minute they come back and ask if they can pick up the bill when they realize that We haven't even had time to eat, they should have more respect for customers, terrible service from the staff.
We had never tried Colombian food, so we relied heavily on the recommendations of our server. We got a Plantano con Queso a chicken empanada, and a chicken Chuzos dinner. The food was excellent and so were the sauces! Our server was extremely helpful and sweet. My only complaint is the obvious lack of an exhaust fan in the kitchen area. The smell of fried food was overwhelming at our table and we had to wash the smell out of all our clothes, coats, and hair after we left. We will patronize La Columbiana again, but we will get it delivered, or To Go.

I've been here twice. The chuzos and carne asada are really good. My colleague had arroz con pollo which had too many spices for his liking. It wasn't hot, but was something that he was not used to.
We like to try different food when we travel and this little place did not disappoint. We started with appetizers of beef empanadas- so flavorful and the sauces on the side were fantastic. Hubby had beans and rice and eggs which my husband says was the most amazing beans and rice ever and he's picky. I had the beef dish with shredded beef seasoned perfectly served with rice and beans. Excellent food- great service- amazing flavors!
