My truck driver husband and I found ourselves in Caldwell for a couple nights and I found this restaurant very close to the truck stop where we stayed. My husband ordered mashed potatoes and chili because he is getting over a tooth extraction and I visited the salad bar. We visited separately and got to-go orders because our truck dog đ¶ doesnât like to be left alone. My husband polished off his order in the truck and when I went later on he asked me to bring him more chili....
this is a family restaurant!! Everyone was extremely friendly! The fresh salad bar was better than Ruby Tuesdays!! Definitely a Bossman Proportion if you know what I mean! Hands down we recommend you come here!!
We stopped here on a Monday evening around 7 and it was refreshing to get off the highway and walk into a nice âwelcome inâ -the servers were very nice and took great care of us. We both ordered the BLT and soup and it was pretty good. I thought the potato soup could use a little sprinkle of cheddar on top. I really wish I wouldâve tried the salad bar. I got the overall impression that this place is clean with good vibes. Give it a try!
