We always like to try new places . New food, new atmospheres. When we seen this place i was excited once i looked up the menu . We went with our kids . Once seated we were asked what we would like to drink to start off me and my friend asked for water with lemon the server immediately left without even giving the kids a chance to respond came back with all water . I then said they would like sodas . She left came back with bread and soda and then we put our order in . After that we didn't see her . About 30 mins yesssss 30 mins our food came out . I ordered the lobster and potatoes and veggies the lobster was so dry it was hard . Over cooked ! No season and the potatoes were full of oil i literally took a bite and oil was dripping . My 10 yr who's not hard to please said her pasta was nasty she wouldn't eat it . The steamed mussels we had gotten as an appetizer had no taste . Also the server never once came and asked us for a refill at all .' This is by far the most horrible experience i have ever had ! Never again and i will never recommend.... Guess i should have just stuck to gervasi or twisted olive like i normally do when i want great food .
Probably the most enjoyable experience we have had at dinner in a long time. Aaron absolutely rocked it. He was extremely personable and we felt he took a sincere interest in our enjoyment. He explained the specials and the different menu items. He was super attentive of our needs and we were just a 2 top. He was sat with an 8 top when we were finishing up and he remembered to bring our bill while he brought out their meals. He was the finest server we have had anywhere. We arrived early and the two bartenders were fantastic as normal but Shelby made the best Old Fashion!!
Anna waited on our table of 9 as we celebrated our Mother's 92nd birthday. She did a phenomenal job!! We all enjoyed the food and service! And Anna's special attention to our needs!
Spur of the moment reservation from Niles. We both had the sea bass. The turtle soup was amazing as usual! Our server Ava was absolutely amazing! Couldn't have been more wonderful and helpful. What a great personality! We will definitely be back and will request Ava every time !
This was our first trip to Bender's. The calamari was delicious, the sweet Thai chili sauce made the dish. The crab cakes were wonderful. Penny was a great server. She helped is every step of the way. We will definitely return.
Bender's is truly a Canton icon. The spaces are beautiful (I absolutely love their bar and their awesome patio). Every dish I have had there has been spot on, and I have had a pretty excellent cocktail or two there as well. They also exude hospitality, with everyone I have interacted with on their team being uber helpful and welcoming. If you've never been, definitely add Bender's to your list!

My husband and I celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary at Benders on Aug 13, 2024. This was our first time there as we live out of state. My husband had the snails, Sea Bass with rice and fresh veggies, while I had the jumbo crab stuffed shrimp with gorgonzola raviolis and a salad. The food was absolutely amazing. But the real winner of the night was our server Ava, she was an absolute gem. Super sweet, informative and gave great recommendations. She honestly made the experience top notch!
We went for a late lunch on our anniversary. Food was tasty and the atmosphere was nice. Be advised that they add a 3% fee for paying with credit card. For an expensive eatery this seemed petty.

The reviews don’t lie; Benders is 5-Stars. The filet and flounder were both perfect. From vino and salad to sides and service, Benders delivered. Hailey was a gracious hostess. We will be back.

Such a cool atmosphere from 1980’s. Hailey was our waitress and was very attentive and gave great suggestions. Had the flounder- all I can say is YUM! Husband had the filet- Yum.

Our server and the food was perfect. We brought friends from out of state and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals. They were very pleased with the menu choices as well. The chocolate peanut butter sauce sundae was the hit of the meal.
Someone at the table ordered the $14 roasted beet salad, which consisted of three slices served on a small plate. For $14 you don't even get one whole beet.
I ordered the Key West Shrimp pasta special with double steamed broccoli as my side. I was expecting nice whole shrimp possibly with the tail on. What I got was tiny little pieces of shrimp and not many. The pasta sauce dominated the dish ruining it, and the broccoli was dry, hard, and room temperature. Have you ever eaten dry steamed broccoli? It was also discolored. I returned the broccoli and was given the same thing back after being microwaved. The pasta wasn't hot and didn't look very good, telling me it was sitting in the window for a long time. $30 shrimp pasta with practically no shrimp, which tasted like bad sauce you can buy at a dollar store.
My fathers wedge wasn't a wedge. It was a pile of cheap lettuce covered with flavorless blue cheese. That's it. He also received hard, dry, discolored, room temperature broccoli and was disappointed with the perch. A waste of $40.
This restaurant obviously does not care about the quality of the food they serve. Absolute garbage for the price.

When the owner of the restaurant greets you at the desk that says something about the experience here. From the service to the food we were never disappointed! Outstanding job to all and keep up the amazing work you do in treating each person with the same level of respect and service. We came from Chicago and visited Canton for the first time. This will be a recommendation I tell others who are visiting Canton in the future. A true HOF restaurant!
Beware: Pop is $3.50 with only one refill. Not a big deal unless your wife needed a refill to take her heart pill and they charged us another $3.50 not to mention acted slightly put off. Great place but left disappointed. Sent this privately to the restaurant but since no reply the review was changed.
