They have the absolute best spaghetti sauce!
This restaurant has been one our favorite for many years but recent renovations have made it so noisy that it negatively impacts the dining experience. Last night we could barely hear our friends sitting cross the table from us. The food and service we were great as always but the noise level ruined the evening.
Was gonna use there catering room on South main for my daughters bridal shower was told I could bring in my own food & beverage. Ask for a price for 3 appetizers for 40 pple my quote was 800.00 so I declined the appetizers but nobody told the chef so Tue before my daughter's shower they cancelled . Poor customer service
Very nice, recently remodeled. The best scrod around
WONDERFUL FOOD! Their fish dishes are fantastic. Big servings for the hungriest of patrons and leftovers to take home for the smaller appetite.
The wait was long but the food made us forget the wait altogether. The porkchops are the best in town as is the sole. Even the vegetables were fresh and well seasoned. The best part of the meal was the shea crab soup. Only complaint was the loud atmosphere but we did sit near the bar. Next time will make a reservation and request a table in the back room. Can't wait to go again.
We were excited to come back and have our favorite perch dinner. Since we are “snow birds “ our last visit and review was December 21st…which was five stars…today April 1st 2022 only three stars. Our perch today was a smaller portion with the tips or ends of the perch cut off each piece. This was very strange. It was still good. Although our fries were just luke warm today so that was disappointing. They do allow you to substitute the cole slaw which is a plus. The she crab soup soup is always tasty. Our service was a tad slow today. It appeared everyone came in at the same time leaving our server running around like a nut. She did a great job of coordinating everyone but obviously this slowed everything down. My husband and I both left a bit disappointed today in the perch size and the Luke warm fries. This is why we both agreed just a three star review today.
Some colleagues and myself were in Canton and it was unanimous that we all wanted Italian. Everyone we spoke to recommended heading to Palombo’s, so we took that as a good omen! They were right! The food was great! Very authentic, excellent portion sizes, and an all around great meal. The staff is warm and friendly, excellent selection of beer on tap, as well as a full bar! If travel brings us back to Canton, Palombo’s will be a must for dinner. Thank you for an excellent experience!
The half rib dinner was reasonable priced at $16.95 including an ear of corn & potato salad. The ribs were tender and meaty but dry and over cooked. The corn was tough and lacked taste but we are soiled by eating my home grown corn. Potato salad was OK. Our waitress was friendly & efficient & our meal arrived sooner the we expected as the restaurant was crowded.
What a find! Our family avoids chain restaurants, so while we were in Canton, we decided to try this. This is, without a doubt, the best Italian food we'd ever had. My wife & I had the Roasted Garlic Chicken, and our son had the Chicken Cannelloni. Both dishes were bursting with fresh flavor and perfect texture. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and ready to share recommendations. If leave hungry, it's your own fault.

Anything with Palumbo's tomato sauce is a winner. We tried everything from salad to lasagna, to steak. All were very good.
Its been a long time since I dined here but I remember the kitchen had a fire that night and we had to evacuate but when we returned, they comped all of our meals to make it right. The food was really good
This restaurant has CLOSED. We will miss them. After the city built a stage, the view of the skating rink and Christmas tree was totally gone causing a great view of the Holidays to cease.
nice dinner at palomino...menu limited because it is closing later this month, and not moving to another cincinnati location. the building is largely vacant (tiffany's is relocating soon, macy's is gone already)...seems like owner/landlord wants to repurpose the space, so no lease renewal for the restaurant. it has gotten a little tired over the years, but we will miss the good food they have always served.
After hearing this restaurant was closing we decided to have one last dinner. In the past we have loved the food, service and view, so needless to say that is what made us want to come back. The view was great, but the food lack a little and the service was not outstanding.
