Love their beef steamed bun! Excellent flavor and quality. The employees are so friendly and welcoming, and will tell you about their product. I also love that they have options besides the traditional pork bun, since I don't much eat pork. I didn't care for the cucumber salad side, but would try one of the other sides in the future. Will definitely come back!

I was SO excited to go here & try something new! I was beyond satisfied with the food & their thai tea is also absolutely delicious! It’s a great stop if you’re planning on hanging out at Washington Park. I got a few different items and they were all good, the pulled pork one was my favorite!

Went here for the first time and got the Beef, Pork and Banh Mi buns. The beef and pork had great quality meat in them and the buns are so soft! Each ingredient on its own was great but all of them together just wasn't giving me five stars... I would definitely go back but it won't be my go-to.

This is my second time coming to this place and I love it. I have tried all of the buns except the beef (I don't eat beef anymore). My fav so far is the sweet potato buns. They are so soft and the flavors are bold. If you haven't their this restaurant I would def recommend that you pay them a visit. They are fast and friendly. I promise you won't he disappointed.

We were walking around looking for a place for dinner. When we saw the steamed bun sign, it was like hallelujah was playing and all our prayers were answered. We got one of everything and we were not disappointed. The brisket and the sweet potato were probably my favorite but everything was tasty. These are so fluffy and delicious! Will definitely be coming again the next I am in Cincinnati.

I've been meaning to try Boombox Buns for quite some time, and boy did I make a mistake by not doing so sooner. I picked up carryout after placing an order online on a Thursday evening. It was ready exactly on time and you could tell it was assembled right before I picked it up. I tried both the Beef and Pork buns, as well as the Chili Noods. Everything was absolutely delicious. I think the beef bun was my slight favorite of the three, but when I return I will probably order the exact same thing.

I cannot believe I haven't made a review of this place! Long story short: you have to go here! Long story: okay so this place is two blocks away from my work. They are the most delicious and most affordable meals you can get in Over the Rhine. Their steamed buns are more like steamed buns tacos but that is part of their appeal and I like it. They have four options, two meats and two vegetarians. They also have a special of pork lettuce wraps. I've had them all and there is no wrong choice. I do, however, have an affinity for their pork so the lettuce wraps or the pork buns are my preferred. The Thai tea!!! Honestly, might be the best Thai tea in town. I will die on this hill. It's a small shop on a somewhat hidden corner but the people in there are the nicest and the food always comes correct. It's great to eat at Washington Park on a beautiful day. Highly recommend for OTR peeps in the area for a lunch venue!

Hidden gem. One of the best meals I will ever eat. It is one thing I miss most of moving out of OTR.I think this is a great shot to go if you want something quick, if you want to bring some food to the park, or if you have kids and need something easy to eat or portable.

I picked up 30 buns last weekend for my husband's birthday. They were delicious! Boombox was super easy to work with and had the buns ready on time. Everyone asked where I got them & kept saying how good they tasted. Definitely one of our favorite places in Cincy!
