We were given a table in the main area, the lighting was definitely on the brighter side and didn't come off as romantic. My husband and I both ordered the filet, medium rare. The food, overall, was fantastic. His filet came out medium well and dry. We pointed it out to the waiter who handled it and ordered another steak for him to be cooked properly. The manager even came over to apologize. It wasn't a huge deal, we were very understanding but it did take another 20 minutes. When we got the bill, they had actually added the 3rd steak to the tab. It was corrected when we brought it to their attention but how do you accidentally add a 3rd steak to the tab??? I'm glad my husband checked but I was fully expecting a comp of some sort on the bill for all the inconvenience. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else and they didn't catch it.

The atmosphere was nice here. I liked watching the cooks. Our server was nice.Food:The wagyu meatball was so dry. Neither of us liked it. The marinara sauce was good in it though. The grilled bread was too hard to chew almost unless you dunked it in the marinara we had with the meatball. The honestly true star of the meal was the bread we got at the beginning. It was salty but in the right way and soft.My dining partner got the seafood tower. He said the oysters were the best part of it. The crab legs were big but very salty as they were sitting in a bath of butter at the bottom of the pan. We tried to drain them but still so salty. The shrimp and scallops were better. The price wasn’t awful for the tower and the amount of seafood included.

We arrived earlier than our reservation time and they were able to seat us right away. Our server Paula was excellent. She was friendly, efficient and answered all our questions. Definitely ask for her. She's the best!!!!

We love the Council Oaks in Tampa so we decided to give this one a try. Well the NY strip was EXTREMELY chewy and our entire bill was $422.00 so we figured when we mentioned the poor quality to the server he would possibky offer something to be courteous but just apologized even after seeing that only a few pieces were eaten from it when he picked up the plates. No offer for a discount or maybe a free dessert just NOTHING. So $71 for a steak that was not eaten. Then he also seemed to rush us when collecting the dinnerware. He grabbed a few empty appetizer plates and as I was taking my last bites of soup I noticed him standing there waiting for me so I felt rushed. Our main server Karla was AMAZING however and she made the experience better. I also did not like my seafood meal, scallops were chewy amd the Rockefeller oysters were too loaded with ingredients that really stole the usual flavor from it. Just overall disappointed with the food for over $100 a person.

The food and service were disappointing for the price. Lots of better options in downtown Cincinnati.

The food was great. Very expensive and tiny portion sizes for the main course. All that is fine. I would've given 5 stars. But they forced a 20% tip on the check then left a tip line on case expensive wanted to tip more. People should tip if it's EARNED. But forcing a tip is wrong. I'll never go there again.

Dining experience at the Tampa Hard Rock was phenomenal! I accidentally booked the Cincinnati restaurant. The staff was very accommodating to allow us to dine at a very busy time when the restaurant was at capacity. The food was exceptional!

We have eaten at Council Oak multiple times. This night was not what we expected. Service was very, very slow. My Sea Bass was burnt, my husband's steak was very thin and over cooked. We waited so long for things, we did not want to be kept longer by returning it. We were also sat along the tables at the back window. I sat on the booth portion. I was sitting on the hard end connections of the booths, it was very uncomfortable, I shifted off to the side, but another couple was sat next to us. Overall, not our best visit. The lobster bisque was excellent!

For a well known establishment like Hard rock casino I would have thought the steak house inside would atleast compete with the lower chains like rising star casino indiana or Hollywood casino Lawrenceburg steak houses. Steak quality not nearly as tasty as the smaller chain. Great service. Sides were excellent. Steak quality not so good as we had different steaks. 3 star on steak quality. Local smaller guys 5 star steaks. Send your cooks to Jeff rubys( same cost) for a lesson in how to prepare good quality steaks at a premium price. Won't go back.

The place was beautiful. It caught us off guard that it was inside the casino. The lamb chops were overly fatty, soup was cold, salmon was ok. It was overly priced. I would not return.

Overall: If you are thinking that this is a comparable restaurant to something like Jags or Cooper’s Hawk, you’re wrong. The service was exceptional, the environment was upscale and the food was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby in OtR.Pre-app:Dinner rolls /salted butter - these were good. Tasted more like a croissantApps:Beef carpaccio - No complaints, it was fine.Charred Octopus - Overcooked piece of fishy rubber. I’ve had Octopus in Miami, and it was exceptional. I couldn’t get past one bite of this.Entrée:14- Day Dry Aged Lamb Chops - As soon as they brought them out, I regretted ordering them. They were the smallest, saddest looking chops I’ve ever ordered. Felt cheated on a $66 order. The horseradish sauce was great.Flat-iron steak - it was just okay. The Chimichurri was more oil than herbs, steak was nothing to write home about.Sides:Brussel Sprouts- these were okay as the flavor was good but they were saturated in oil.Mashed potatoes - yup, just like mashed potatoes.Desert:Chocolate mousse with cordial cherry was great.Total cost = $305This is with tip. Regardless of the poor food quality, our server and all the staff we interacted with were super super nice. ??

Steaks were switched on delivery but we didn't notice until after we had eaten a good portion so decided not to complain. Server was attentive at the beginning of the meal but towards the end was slow to clear dinners and cash out.

2nd Christmas visit in two years. Last year had the Ribeye and this year went for the Josper Roasted Seafood Platter. What a choice! Highly recommend this place for the food, service and atmosphere.
