It was wonderful! The food was incredible, so delicious. There was one lady working when we came in, but she welcomed us very warmly, made fresh injera, and was a very attentive host. We'll be back for sure!

Delicious Ethiopian food in Cincinnati. We got there late on a Sunday night. There were only 3 selections, that's why I gave them only 4 starts. But the service was very friendly, they were attentive and the food we got was absolutely delicious! We also got a cup of Honey wine, which was a good experience too. If this was what we got late on a Sunday night, I can't imagine what we had gotten if we had come at a better time. Not in the photo is a side of flavourful lentils we added after. I will likely be back for more.

We always get takeout and I love their doro wot and vegetarian entree. They supply plenty of injera. I easily get two meals out of one order.

This is my favorite place to eat in Cincinnati so far after 1.5 years of living here. I never thought I would be recognized as a regular at an Ethiopian restaurant, but the food is just spot on every time I go, and the hospitality is always so warm. You're getting a taste of made with love family Ethiopian cooking.

Within the Cincinnati area there aren't that many Ethiopian choices, but if you are looking for authentic Ethiopian food I would choose this spot. I've had many Ethiopian restaurants within the United States and Ethiopia and Habesha is authentic. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. The location is relatively small, but I ordered To Go and it was ready on time when I arrived.

If you don't like Ethiopian food or don't know anything about it, you may not want to dine here. I happen to love their vegetarian platter. Lots of legumes and cabbage in a flavorful sauce. Enough food to make a lunch the following day. (Re-heat the pancakes very gently.) They've made some improvements to the place but need to work on their floor. I wish more people would visit this little place.Vegetarian options: I love the vegetarian platter but I miss the cheese they used to serve with it--similar to a farmer's cheese.Parking: Parking lot is a little weird. Be careful how you enter and exit as there are obstructions.
The food was excellent. Although service and food delivery was extremely slow. Great place to go if not in a hurry. If I came back to Cincinnati I'd go out of my way to come go again. It's kind of a hole in the wall place. Don't expect much in the way of ambiance.

Habesha had been on our radar for a while but was quite a ways from where we live. We happened to be in the area and grabbed carry out. The vegetarian plater was amazing! The injera was delicious and the portions were extremely generous. We'll be back!

Refugee owned, fantastic food especially if you’re feeling adventurous! Food is spicy ?️ which I love!! Price is cheap especially for the high quality food. Be prepared for finger food and to leave feeling full and happy!!
