The food is consistently delicious here, but the service needs some improvement. We enjoyed our server, but she came so infrequently and never asked us if we would like alternatives.

Food was good. Have had a few different things off the menu and liked them all. The place was pretty empty the times I have been there. But the service seemed busy. Not very prompt on their table service.

Ordered the sea bass which is always great the smash burger is phenomenal and the fish and chips is delicious but the calamari was over cooked and very crunchy and dry

Went there for our anniversary dinner with a couple friends, the service was slow and inconsistent. Took forever to get our food, and when it came out, it was cold. One of our friends ordered a lobster tail in addition to his seafood Alfredo, and the waiter totally forgot about the lobster tail, and brought it out after my friend mentioned it, and by then he was done with his entrée. I ordered a second beer to be served with my entrée, and did not get until I was done eating. Also ordered the three course dinner special, and the waiter totally forgot about the dessert. Thank God we used some gift cards that were given to us, because I would never pay for that bad of service and cold food. It was our first time there, and we will never be back because it was so bad. I can see why on a Saturday night prime time that the restaurant was over half empty. It’s right across the street from Jeff Ruby‘s steakhouse, and I would rather go there and pay three times as much to get food and service that is 10 times better.

Spoke with the executive chef on Saturday, after receiving a call from him. We address the situation, and then he said he would send a virtual gift card to allow us to give them another chance. I received that email today, and it was for a $25 virtual gift card, which would not even cover the parking in downtown as well as the dessert that I did not get last week. Considering that we live way out in the suburbs, about a half hour drive, this small token, after what happened last weekend, was practically a slap in the face. Asking us to come down there to give them more money for another bad experience? Thanks, but no thanks, they can keep it. I definitely do not recommend this place, as it’s a joke all the way around.

During my Birthday stay and The Bengals game event at a great hotel that was conveniently located around the corner from your restaurant. I arrived at 7:15pm, on 9/22/24 to the restaurant. It was somewhat empty but pleasant for a Sunday evening I thought. I was seated by the window of my choice with a great view of the Fountain Square. My waitress greeted me and was friendly. I ask a few questions about accommodations on the menu order of steak and salmon and was told there were none for the steak I wanted. I decided to order both dinners separately. The waitress did not offer any other sides although I asked “what other sided do you offer?” and was told “it comes with” mash potatoes and green beans. I did receive water and no bread.
It’s now 7:40pm and my waitress magically reappeared after her long absence. I was told by my waitress that there was a larger order before mine and that my meals should be out shortly. This is not a reasonable delay and there was not a large group in the restaurant at all as stated earlier. I wanted to order a drink while I waited but my waitress was missing in action.
It’s now 7:57pm. The two main courses arrived, I was asked to cut into the steak to determine if it is cooked to my liking, it was. I also ordered the stuffed salmon with crab, shrimp, and brie cheese.They arrived together and I delve into the salmon dish, which was pleasantly hot and very tasty. My steak dish when I taste was not at all hot. It was room-temperature, served with cold flavorless mashed potatoes , and green beans. The salmon plate mash potatoes and green beans were served hot.
My waitress, while pleasant was not apologetic. I explained my steak meal had probably sat and got cold while waiting to catch up with the cooks and servers. Although this did not meet my expectations at all. No resolve offered.
There was no way to heat the steak in my room as I should not have to. I came in expecting a top tier meal for the amount sent that evening and that was not the case. I gave a 2⭐️⭐️ only because my Salmon meal was ok and I had to pay for two meals with no accommodations. I was extremely disappointed with my cold steak. My birthday meal totally ruined.

Very nice evening, went during restaurant week. Parking was horrible. Service was great. Nice recommendations for wine. My meal wasn't exactly what the menu said, but still very good.
Ask for Shawna as your server. She is the best! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was fresh and a large serving. Filet was perfectly cooked. The crispy smashed potatoes are worth the up charge. Delicious meal!

We had a reservation and were still asked to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. I'm not sure if the waitstaff and kitchen was overwhelmed due to multiple menus or what had happened, but we were in the restaurant for over 3 hours. The food was good, but not exceptional. I think we probably would have enjoyed it more if we weren't focused on how long we waiting.
Waiter forgot about us. Offered bread and we replied yes, no bread was brought. Food was very good but we didn't feel like we were valued as customers. Didn't stop by to ask if we would like more drinks or how the food was. We picked the wrong place to pay upscale prices for our anniversary dinner. Won't be back.
