I attend St. John Cantius regularly and very much enjoy this church. Father Roach is a great preacher and I never drift when listening to his sermons. The church is beautiful. If you are near the Tremont area, I highly recommend checking out St. John Cantius even if you cannot attend mass there.

One of the catholic/orthodox religious institutions of Tremont. This Roman Catholic Church is dedicated to St. John Cantius (Kanty) (1390-1473), Patron of Poland & Lithuania. His feast day is 23 December. The parish has an associated school next door.

Cleveland was (and remains to a great extent) a city of immigrants. As those immigrants arrived, they tended to cluster within communities. As those communities became established, an important first building was a religious one -- in the case of Catholic communities -- a church.
