I ate recently [11-27-2023] at Donatos Short North at 920 N. High St. in the "Short North" neighborhood of Columbus.I am a regular Donatos customer; I order food from Donatos several times each week. I usually order my food from Donatos Upper Arlington because I live about 300 feet from that location.I had been planning to attend a meeting that evening at Stonewall Columbus, several blocks to the north, so I had decided to eat at Donatos Short North and then walk several blocks north so that I would be able to attend my meeting.Most Donatos locations are free-standing buildings that are separate from their neighbors; this particular Donatos is part of a continuous structure [that consists of several different connected pieces] that runs between E. First Ave. and E. Second Ave. on the east side of N. High St.One thing that is definitely unique about Donatos Short North is that there is a bar, Black Brick, in a separate room that is immediately south of the south end of the Donatos dining room, that is open occasionally.Black Brick had been closed while I had been at Donatos but I had been able to walk into that space for a brief moment and take several pictures in the near-darkness.My food order at Donatos Short North had been a meatball sub that definitely is one of my favorite food items at Donatos.If you are looking for delicious food, I recommend any of the locations of Donatos.

Ordered mariachi chicken. They charge you for sour cream for this pizza. They didn't send sour cream. They offered to send sour cream, but really? Pizza is cold by then. Last time ordering from this incompetent location.

The best Donatos out there. The pizzas aren't slimy or burnt, like many of the other Donato's chains I've ate at lately. With all of the coupon discounts the price was really cheap. However, it was their sincere, welcoming spirit that my elderly friend and I loved the most about this restaurant.

I ordered a Large pepperoni pizza add jalapeños. I was told it would be 30 minutes and almost 90 minutes go by and i get the email that it’s been delivered. No one ever knocked and i walk outside to see no pizza. I then contact the store and the manager tells me she will send a knew one out. Never got it and when i called almost 2 hours later no one answered and then i called again 10 minutes later and the store was closed. I had 3 kids to feed and that place didn’t care. don’t say you’re sending a new one out if you’re not!! this store sucks !!!

This was my first time trying Donatos. We actually met one of their traveling managers in VA in a local Red Robin. He spotted my man's Buckeye shirt, and it opened up a conversation about him bieng from Ohio and was there in VA to work. We told him we were headed there in a few days to visit. He gave us a coupon for a 1 large pizza with 1 free topping. That was very nice. I used the coupon, and I also purchased a 7 inch personal pizza. Unfortunately, they dont offer vegan cheese for folks with allergies, so I got a cheese less pizza with sausage, mushrooms,onions, and garlic. I also ordered the garlic wings and an Italian sub. The managers were really friendly and patient with my questions. We chatted about food and life. They forgot to charge me, and I walked out. When I got to the car, I realized I didn't pay, but I new the right thing to do, plus when I say how small that personal pizza was, I new I needed more food. The food was amazing and my family enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: No dairy free cheese

Pizza was pretty good as always. Non-alcoholic drinks consisted of a "not quite right" self-serve pepsi fountain products. Multiple complaints about the sodas. No iced tea option. Beer selection was good, but not something for lunch on a workday.
Walked 1 mile from my hotel only to find that just the drive thru was as open. No inside service available. Unsatisfactory.

Terrible. I’ve tried ordering from this store twice now in about two weeks. First time- order was delivered missing 2 of 3 items ordered. Had to call the store- manager answered- sent correct order- an hour later. Tonight I ordered 1 large pizza. Never delivered. No calls. No emails other than the order confirmation and confirmation that my credit card was charged. Tried calling the store, tried calling the corporate number- no answer from either. Sat on hold with both numbers until both calls were disconnected. As of now- I’ve been charged 23 dollars including tip- but I’ve received nothing. And zero contact from the store. Do I recommend donatos? Yes. It’s delicious- my favorite. This store though- an absolute joke. They just like to take your money and not deliver. Now I get to go to bed hungry and spend who knows how long trying to get a refund for the food that I never received. If you can’t handle the job- don’t do it. You’re just setting yourselves up for failure and turning countless customers away.

Literally the worst donatos ever, I regularly order and everytime something is wrong not to mention I never get my extra dressing no matter if I pay for it or not, I’ve paid for 5 extra dressings once and didn’t receive one does your staff not know how to read or just dont care? Then I call tonight no delivery driver how are you a pizza place and don’t have delivery gtfoh. Shut this location down honestly
