I've been meaning to write a review for the past year but decided to wait after going a few times before actually writing my review. In 2021 I went to Hyde park twice, once in February, and once in October. Both times were awful, but especially the second time. I blame it on covid and going out to dinner on a weeknight but none of that should matter given the prices of this steakhouse. I wish I had gotten that waiters name but not only was he rude but he removed plates from the table without asking us if we were done...full plates of food that my boyfriend hadn't touched because he stepped out for a phone call. This Friday 1/7/2021 my boyfriend convinced me to try Hyde park again stating that it's much better than the previous time. I decided to give it another shot because new year, new me giving out second chances. Let me just say I was blown out of the water by the service by our waiter. He was from Kenya and was incredibly sweet and attentive. I told him I wanted sweet tea and he made me the most delicious sweet tea from scratch. My boyfriend and I both got the wagyu. He got the olive beef and I got the Samurai. The chief personally came out to us to show us, describe and ask what temperature we wanted the beef to be cooked at. In addition both cuts got their own certificates (birth certificates? Lol) for us to keep. It was an incredible experience and gives me hope that Columbus fine dining is back to pre covid service.

Awesome service! Hands down the best steak I've ever eaten. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Will definitely be back in the future.

Went here for the first time about two weeks ago with my significant other and it was wonderful! The food was very tasty, flavorful and the service was great! Will be coming back!

After stopping at the bar before dinner, Blaise and Todd were great so we decided to have our meal at bar. We sat near station where wait staff picked up drinks, it was a pleasure how social and friendly everyone was. Drinks and food delicious, we will definitely go back soon!

Jeff Ruby steakhouse was our favorite. But Hyde Park took over last nite. We have a New favorite place now and it was $100 cheaper overall than Jeff Ruby steakhouse. A+++ staff excellent.

As an impromptu destination for a spur of the moment date night this place really set the evening off right. The crab cocktail was impeccable and I could not decide which of the two dippers was better. My wife really enjoyed the Caesar as her starter as well. The dressing was flavorful but not overbearing, a nice balance that is often hard for some places to get right. The entrees were fantastic. Convinced the Mrs. to get the Australian Wagyu and she was not disappointed by the result but was not a fan of the shallot Cabernet sauce. But since it was served on the side that didn’t impair anything. I had the special, a 24oz Ribeye dry aged 40 days and wet aged for 20 days in bourbon. Great flavor but not in the boozy way I would have predicted. The sides were a nice add, roasted Brussels and potato Gruyère gratin, but we only got to sample them as we were filling up quick. Service was professional and courteous and the pacing of everything was very well done. Highly recommended.

Normally, I would give 5 stars, but because our waiter, Paul, was out sick, 4 will have to suffice. My family has been coming here for Christmas Eve every year for the last 6 or 7 years. We didn't do it last year due to COVID being so new still and didn't want to take any chances. Food was still amazing, but service could've been a bit better with or without Covid. Hands down, best wedge salad, double tier seafood tower, and the tenderloin filets are exceptional

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner. Everything was amazing and that includes the service. My only complaint is that I had about half of my steak left to take home and our server mistakenly threw it in the garbage.

Our annual Christmas dinner /concert with friends in Columbus was fabulous. Our services was amazing and the food was outstanding. My filet was prepared to perfect temperature, the potatoes au gratin melted in my mouth, and the Brussels so flavorful. And to top it off, cocktails were fantastic.

Everything starting from the valet service to our waiter was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu, took time to explain everything and made sure we were comfortable. He had a nice demeanor and sense of humor. The food was delicious. Overall a wonderful experience for a Christmas Eve dinner.

Reservations were easy to make online with a confirmation call received by the hostess the day of the reservation. They have valet parking available for easy entrance upon arrival. The ambience of the venue and layout of the seating was very nice. You didn’t feel like you were sitting to close to anyone. The service was phenomenal and probably the best part of the experience. Nathan took time to ask about our plans after dinner to make sure we could make our way to the Ohio Theater in time for our show. We both had steaks that were cooked to perfection and dressed to compliment the flavor of the steak. We shared Brussel sprouts and asparagus for our sides. The asparagus was a bit flimsy and overcooked for my liking but had great flavor and fresh Parmesan cheese. For dessert we had crème brûlée which was fresh and delicious. Overall we had a great and enjoyable experience. Looking forward to our next visit here soon.
