Generally I think steakhouses are overrated, but everything here was exceptional and my friend and I were just sitting at the bar.

Another fabulous dinner at Hyde Park! The staff is very friendly and work as a team to ensure great customer service throughout our dinner. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Columbus.

Most places attempt to keep the price the same (see inflation) at the cost of quality... I'm please to see a restaurant maintain their quality... (the prices have gone up... but the quality hasn't changed!)

Staff and food are always incredible. Our reservation was messed up but they were able to seat us in the bar right away which was very appreciated. However there was live music which was very loud.

We were directed to sit at the table that was all the way in the back corner of the restaurant even though there were other tables available, and we did not request more of a private table. Our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us for long periods of times or rushed us to finish. Our dinner order wasn't taken until 45 minutes after we were seated even though we had closed our menus and set them in a pile on the table. Our salad plates were not cleared until our main entrees were served but main entree plates were offered to be removed when other guests were still eating. The elevated service expected at a high-end streak house just wasn't there.

The backroom... newly renovated bar with live music and beautiful view of gorgeous bar and creative ceiling design. The steaks were extremely well prepared, as were the sides. The 'Ryan Day' was melt in your mouth. Add the garlic preparation for any of your steaks. Service was attentive, kind, 'not in your face' and experienced. They definitely wanted us to be happy. Beautiful evening. Thank you!!!

I've heard so much about Hyde Park, and I finally got a chance to check it out. It was a Sunday evening, and I decided to valet park my car for $10. We made reservations, and I was seated after the table was ready, and I wanted for my friend. The servers were great. They brought our drinks, and we reviewed the menu and the specials. So, I wanted an appetizer, but most of the We seafood and my friend does not like seafood. So I would recommend making some changes here. I really wanted to try some of the appetizers, but I prefer to share. We ordered our enrres. He got the Tomahawk Ribeye Steak, but I don't eat red meat, so I had the Chilean bass in the cirrus sauce. Personally, I was not impressed. I did like the Brussel sprouts, which I got the bacon sauce on the side. I was hoping for more flavor on the fish, but it was ok. This is a steakhouse where you can get Japanese wagyu. So, I expected as much. I also ordered a dessert, and it was also ok. The espresso wasn't bad. It's probably one of the better ones I've had in fine dining. The atmosphere is wonderful. I loved the different spaces they had,l such as the bar, the both, and the fireplace. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. Overall, it was a wonderful evening in a wonderful place with wonderful staff...just the food....Parking: Valet parking was 10 dollars. There's also limited meter parking using an app to pay, which is free on Sundays. Also there's a parking garage nearby.

My party of 8 had a horrible experience at the High street Hyde Park on Saturday the 23th. Examples were mostly the quality of our entrees:$82 bone-in ribeye steak that was 85% fat and just better than room temperature.Porterhouse with no flavor and also barely room temperature.Over cooked lobster tailThe steak special had a spoiled taste and was excessively fatty

Just need to reiterate: 1. We had our steaks cut into to prove that our steaks were overcooked. 2. Server said he didn't have time to accept our gift cards. Spent 30th anniversary there!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary by having dinner with our son and daughter in love. Food and service were impeccable. Staff, not just our service team, were constantly (not in an annoying sense) stopping by the table to wish us happy anniversary. The red velvet cake was a delicious end to an amazing dinner. Great place for a special event night out.

Not a good first impression. We arrived a bit early and directed to the bar area to wait. Waited for 20+ minutes and could not even order a drink. Bartenders were busy but had no care in the world to help anyone waiting. Once we got to the table, we were greeted by our waiter and order drinks. I ordered a scotch and when received, found the glass they used to be dirty. Not just a smudge, but the entire inner and outer rims were covered in debris. Sent it back and got a new one. The oysters were a joke and poorly presented with shell pieces all over. The crab cocktail and chop salad were good and came out as expected. As the restaurant slowly cleared out we waited almost an hour for a main course. It was a ridiculous amount of time but the steaks were great and cooked properly. The side of asparagus and sauce came out cold as if they had been sitting. When the floor manager came by to ask about our meal, we advised her of the cold food and she removed it from the table and bill. She apologized and comped a dessert which was tasty. Overall, I wasn't impressed by this $$350 meal. My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to try something “local.” This was our first and only visit.
