Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse never disappoints. This time our family ordered steaks. Next time it will be the sushi. Everything is flown in fresh for the raw bar daily. Anthony our waiter was outstanding. Service is top shelf at this restaurant. We can't wait to go back.

Third time. First maybe 3 years ago- outstanding. Past two visits- below average and considering price - well below average and expectations. Too expensive to be inconsistent so this one's off our list. Wife's steak was burnt/ not edible. Don't understand how it left the kitchen or was served by server. Replacement was both medium in places and well done in others?? In summary, I question the attention to details...Jeff ruby's is overrated versus the many other steakhouse choices in Columbus. Minor point: Was both our birthdays. Interesting table beside us got a birthday dessert but we didn't?

Obviously the reputation of this establishment preceded my experience. It is well known to be one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences in Columbus, and that held true throughout the evening. My fraternity brothers and I decided on JR for our anniversary dinner and it was a resounding win. The food was incredible. I personally enjoyed the cod, but sampled from their plates as well and everything was delicious. I've only had oysters twice in my life and could not stand them. When I tell you the East coast selection from JR was everything... you better believe it. I wish I remembered our waiters name (the drinks are good too lol) but he was amazing as well. Extremely knowledgeable of the menu and you can genuinely feel that he loves working there. The entire experience was exquisite and the vibe was worth the price of admission. The fact that it's positioned within walking distance of my two favorite hotels - Hilton Downtown & The Canopy - adds to its appeal for me. I will absolutely return and recommend JR for the perfect evening.

My company held a Happy Hour type event on the patio last night for 15+ people. I seldom write reviews but had to share our experience. It began at booking with Chip Mullen, an excellent Relationship Manager. His attention to detail and level of service took nearly all of the planning off my plate. I've reached out to Chip on several past occasions for help with both client and personal dinners and he always finds a way to say yes!! I arrived a few minutes early to make sure everything was set before guests arrived. Our group was assigned to Ella. I think she is magic. She attended to everything we needed asap and made it look easy. It seemed many guests ordered unique craft cocktails with ingredients not always shelved. Ella delivered everything we asked for and quickly. When I commended her on her service, she shared that she had been making all our drinks herself to insure our guests received exactly what they were seeking. Ella made sure the food we ordered was out timely while always checking to make sure refills were coming right up. Her superpower was remembering what each guest had ordered, i.e, many different types of bourbon or other unique spirit. Whether you seek a dining experience or client event, it will be worry free when you trust in the professionals at Jeff Ruby's Columbus!

This was our first trip to Jeff Ruby's. We will definitely be returning. The restaurant was beautiful, we were greeted and quickly seated upon arrival. We had the perfect booth looking out at the restaurant. The entire wait staff was great but we were blessed with an incredible waiter-Patrick! He was so kind, personable, attentive and provided wonderful recommendations. Very knowledgeable about the menu! It was one of the best meals I've had! After the delicious meal, Patrick recommended the Butter Pie. We ordered it and could not have been happier! It was incredible! Well worth every penny!! Definitely consider Jeff Ruby's for your next date night, anniversary or any other celebration! We will be back!

Wonderful meal and service showing up in our Bluejackets jerseys before going to see the Bluejackets beat the Vegas Golden Knights! Tommy did a great job and will definitely be requested on our next visit! The manager was also great stopping by to check on us and we would love to follow Boone Jenner at the same table again next time! Thanks again Tommy! Our new go-to pregame spot!
We were seated a 6pm and left after 8pm. The service was hollow and clearly something was a miss. Smiles at your tables quickly turned to blank sullen faces as they walked away. The food was good, but not for the prices. Parking was hard to find and expensive. My rating would be a “meh” at best.

This was the first time to this restaurant for my wife and I. We were very impressed with quality of the food and the service. The ambience was also excellent, with an old-school steakhouse vibe, but without being old and shabby. It was definitely an expensive meal, But a reasonable value considering the quality.
