Great spot for an evening drink and snack, or to watch a game or fight. They used to have an extensive menu with Irish cuisine but now it's just pub food. But it's good. COVID hit them hard, I think, which is too bad- and I'll give them 5 stars because I am Irish and I can't discredit them for the COVID struggles. Go for a pint and try it yourself!
I was surprised at the high quality food at Pub Mahone! Fish and Chips were to die for, beer battered and hot! The Thai-chili wings and reuben fritters were also delicious. Seems like a hole in the wall, but outstanding! Staff informed us that there would be a wait for our food and it was out much quicker than anticipated. Surprisingly good service for the short staffing. A must-stop in Columbus if you like good pub food!

Very slow service, even though it was early afternoon and very small crowd. I had to ask for service. After meal, I asked for the bill, they provided a total, no detail. It was definitely more low end bar and far less about a decent pub.
