I usually stop in after work and carry out the same meal. Salmon croquets, greens, Mac 'n cheese and cornbread. Always perfect, love it! Fast, friendly and reasonably priced.

Went to the restaurant last Friday February 21,2019,.I ordered the catfish with collard greens and potato salad. They didn't have potato salad and thee waitress claimed the collards weren't ready. I substituted green beans and macaroni and cheese, and black eye peas. When my order was finally ready she had left the black eyed peas behind the bar . The mac and cheese tasted like it was cooked on top of the stove instead of the oven and the green beans had no seasoning.in them. I found the waitress to be unknowledgable and rude. The staff should be trained on what's on the menu . The best thing was the catfish at least it was lukewarm when I got home. I think I should've went to Red Lobster instead, at least I would've been treated better.

Friendly atmosphere, fantastic food and clean surroundings. Nice place to relax and have a drink plus food after a long day at work. Highly recommend.....

I've been here 4 times and the first time was GREAT. The other 3 times were terrible. They have very inconsistent recipes they follow by and they NEVER have the sweet tea when I'm there to order it. It angers me to see this because I love to see a black business owner have their restaurant but even the owner had an anger issue when I went to confront them about their inconsistency! Such a shame.

I'll be honest as I can. I was there last weekend with one of my best friends and his College friend. It did not look open (and on a Saturday afternoon during college football) at all until we went in. The college friend suggested we come here. The service was Excellent... I forgot the waitress' name but she was dead on point, and very nice to us. Now the menu I was not prepared for as I though I was going to be eating soul food ( I wasn't in the mood for it this early in the day) so when I looked over the menu and saw that it was nothing like that I was very amazed! I ordered a Ceasar's salad with chicken, one of us ordered Cod and another ordered chicken pasta ( he did comment that it must sell out frequently because he could never get it when he comes for it). The poritions were generous and we could not finish all of it. Now the meal I received was excellent...fresh lettuce the chicken was grilled just right and they gave me extra dressing as requested. It could not have been a better meal. We all enjoyed our food chatted with the staff and left very happy. I will be back in the future. And although it's in Dayton and I stay in Cincinnati the trip was worth it. Keep up the good work guys.
