Although the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it, the floor show that we received was lackluster compared to others around us. Our chef did not do anything engaging such as tricks with the food or asking if someone wanted to have some food catapulted into the air so that they could catch it with their open mouths. I was disappointed because I've been to this establishment before and thoroughly enjoyed that part of it. I know that you go for the food but the antics with the chef also keep you interested. However, we will return.

Food was mid. Not hot. The chicken was hard & overcooked the rice was cold & undercooked. We came here 2 birthdays. We felt rushed through our meal. The guy who cooked food barely spoke to us. It was quiet & awkward. No show. The one on miller lane was 20 times better. And i didn't get my sushi until after our meal they have already sang happy birthday. So disappointed. Will never come to this location again. Terrible

I have been to Sake before and will go again. It is a great place for the tableside Hibachi experience. If you have not done tableside Hibachi, be aware there will be flames and fun. This can scare some children. Also, there is some potential for allergy contamination as the chef is cooking all food, including proteins with the same grill and utensils. They are very good with thoroughly cooking the food. You are seatted around the cooking grill and can end up being seated with other parties. Initial seatting they do try to space groups, but on a busy night, a table can get full easily. Not sure you can handle up close fire, then maybe request a table and order a Hibachi meal. They also have a good selection of sushi. I consider Sake middle to high spending depending on the number of people and what all is ordered. Nice staff. For tipping, try to remember to include the Hibachi Chef. They do have their menu on their website, so I recommend checking them out before you go. Also, for special occasions, I always recommend calling for reservations so you don't end up having to wait, even if it is just for 2.
