Don’t know how I haven’t rated this place yet. There’s a reason why it was voted best place to grab a drink in Dayton. And why Matt was voted best bartender in Dayton for 3 years in a row. When you come here it feels like home. You will not find a better beer selection anywhere else in Dayton, possible even the Columbus of Cincinnati region. It can be loud inside and you may pay an arm and a leg between what’s on tap or what’s on the shelf, but these are dollars well spent when it comes to supporting the real ones who keep this place going. I wish every city had their own Barrel House

10/10 would use the porta potty here again!! This is the most chill place to hang. The staff is THE most adaptable even when the shitters broke! The highest quality of honey pots show up to take care of your bathroom needs! Come grab a cold beer and say hello to these wonderful people!!!

Up until recently, rating food at The Barrel House wasn't an option. They have always warranted 5 stars for service and atmosphere, but now with Dayton Street Snacks onsite, we can now rate food, too. It is with resounding pleasure that we can heartily rate food there with a solid 5, too!

My favorite bar in Dayton. It feels like home! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and no weekend is complete without a visit. They have beer/wine/thc drinks/NA beer/cocktails in a can/Sake/liquor and most importantly Old Grandad!

Great food truck setup, very cozy atmosphere and open late. Impressive variety of CBD, THC, beer, and wine.
Can be a little loud, but honestly, the people and vibes cleanly make up for it. Good beer, good energy, weekly karaoke, Wu-tang Wednesdays, I love the deco, some cushioned seating, some high top, some outdoor seating, and lovely people to talk to, I love the barrel house. It's one of my favorite tap houses in all of Dayton for just good energy.
For our *sensory sensitive* friends, I would caution you guys as the sounds can get overwhelming as it's not as spacious as say Warped Wing, and can start to feel overwhelming. Would recommend wearing your loops

Arguably one of the most unique places to stop and have a brew. As an OTR DRIVER, I have been to every state many times over. It’s difficult to describe the warmth I felt at this place. Truly a credit to the community. Will always stop here if I am in the area. An Amazing discovery.
