Probably one of the best places in Columbus to have dinner. Excellent everything

High quality Italian food. Best focaccia I've had since I moved to Ohio from the East Coast. Burrata was nice and creamy on top of perfectly seasoned olive oil. The cacio e pepe was light and fluffy in a delicious cheesy sauce. We tried all the desserts and they exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to

Unique, newer dining option in Downtown CBUS. The food is great and despite a relatively small menu there is something for all tastes (for me personally, vegetarian). Be prepared to pay - pricing is at a premium. Having been greeted by a host stating there is a time limit on our table sparked an overarching stress that the clock was ticking down while we were trying to enjoy a night out. It is a bustling and lively atmosphere - at least it was for an early Saturday dinner yesterday. The dining room seating is less than desirable; I suggest the establishment consider different chairs that are less exposed and more comfortable. I will likely give this place another try - someday. As a downtown resident, I hope the restaurant succeeds. At the very least, I am glad I gave it a try.

The food was excellent. The dining experience, however, was not. As we were shown to our seats, the first thing the host said to us was, “We’re fully booked tonight, so you have an hour and a half for your table”, as though we were back in high school and about to begin an exam. I don’t think you should call yourselves an "Italian Eatery" when you don't embrace the Mediterranean concepts of slow food, slow eating and relaxed conversation. I’m not sure how many people could comfortably enjoy a 3-course meal in an hour and a half especially when the portion sizes are large. With 15 minutes to go on our “clock” the waiter places the dessert card on the table and gives us a minute to think about selection. When he returned I said, “I would love to order dessert but I have a feeling we’ve run out of time”. He says, “Let me check for you”, goes away for 5 seconds and returns to only pick up the dessert card and place the bill in front of us without any explanation. Guess I’ll never find out how tasty the dessert is because I won’t be returning. Speck, you might say you value guest experience over money, but you’re only fooling yourselves!

So to be clear, the experience was outstanding. The food, our wait staff, the atmosphere, everything was great. However, I cannot abide a company that owns amazing restaurants like Veritas, Citizen Trust, and Speck and yet can't put together a benefits program that isn't "put healthcare on the bill, see if we can get the customer to pay it". Josh Dalton, you need to do better. Figure out how to break the cycle of poor employee care/coverage in the service industry. Forcing wait staff to accept alms is not the answer! Again, I have to stress the experience was outstanding. The 2 stars are solely for the owners.

I give this place a 10/10 all across the board! Atmosphere was inviting, service was AMAZING, and the food was to die for! My husband and I got some delicious cocktails to start then ordered the bread as an appetizer, recommended by our waitress, which was amazing as well. For dinner we both got fresh crab linguine and let me tell you this was THEE best pasta/seafood dish I’ve probably ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us some celebratory champagne! Pricing of food was not bad at all! Literally 10/10 please go to this restaurant(make sure to make a reservation) because you won’t regret it!

The Burrata was divine. The pasta was great, but the lemon cookies which were definitely hyped up were chewy.. Flavor was okay but I couldn’t get past the texture.
