Urbean Joe was my first restaurant/cafe on my very first visit to Ohio. It was recommended on a television show called The Sister Circle. First of all the decor was awesome. I loved the way it represents the owner. It has a great Hollywood meets small home town feel to it. When I arrived there was only one person behind the counter. She was handling cashiering & cooking but that was only for a few minutes. I had been researching the place ahead of time & contemplated getting a t-shirt online. I decided to wait until I got to Ohio, but the cashier was not sure about tees. As I write, I was wondering was there was no music & no tv. Yet, the owner came in & turned on a television with music. He read my mind! Before talking to the owner to end my visit, my initial rating was a 3, but I gave the Urbean Cafe a 5/5 after getting my t-shirt & a request to shout them out. I highly recommend coming to eat the food!
