Some of the best pizza around. Large salad was huge and enough for our family of 4. Took a little long to get food because they were packed. but the customer service made the wait worth it. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

We order from here a few times per month. Overall, it's a good pizza and ready on time. I've not tried many of their other offerings. As long as you stick to the menu without customization, the order is generally correct.I can't recommend customizing your order (extra sauce, squares instead of round, half this/half that etc). I've never known them to get the custom orders correct, and my friends have similar experiences. But our standard orders have always been correct.

2nd time ordering from here and not impressed. Extra cheese was definitely not extra cheese and the dough was not completely cooked. The bbq wings were very good but we came here for pizza not wings. Not a lot of good pizza in Columbus, need to go back up to the northeast Ohio places.

Food was ok, But the customer service is terrible. Was told 40-45 mins for my order, Got there in 45 mins I paid (remember this part) and was told "It's still not up yet" I asked could you go see how long it would take ? The reply I got was " Well, I would have to go and find my manager to see" I said well go and do that..... Then waited another 20 mins for my food. Then when I finally got my food, The other cashier that was up there when I initially walked in said you have to pay.... I replied I already did, he checked his system just to verify..No apology, nothing. I guess holding a receipt doesn't suffice anymore, Which leads to last observation. The same gentlemen, offered a young Lady of caucasian descent, a drink since her order wasn't ready and was very polite. But when a Older Lady of color came in, "Your order isn't ready yet, Ill let you know when it is" No drink no hospitality.....Hate to make assumptions but for someone like me, (My first time coming here) Definitely didn't hit the mark, It's ran by teenagers and young people with terrible customer service.Won't be returning.

Taranto's has always been my favorite pizza! Amazing dough that's crispy and yet perfectly glutenous. Toppings are always delicious and fresh and though rare when they make a mistake they always make it right! Debbie (I think it was her name, perhaps the owner) once visited my school for career day in elementary school and liked the personal pizza I made so much she offered me a job when I grew up! I'll never forget that, and then she was a regular at UDF when I worked there and gave me her business card one of the first times I served her icecream/ milkshakes.. I hope she sees this because her personality and her family business has had such a positive impact on me I wish I would've taken her generous offer years ago because I would make pizzas with pride using such amazing recipes

0 stars. Didn't even get a chance to eat the actual pizza. Placed my order at 5:55pm, said it would be ready in 40-45 minutes. The email confirmation said pick up at 6:35pm. Got a text at 6:58pm that said my order was in the oven. Naturally, I called to figure out what was going on, the man told me they're behind and it was in the oven and would be another 15 minutes. I told him my husband had been standing in the restaurant for the last 30 minutes and he said "yeah we are behind". So I said should I cancel my order? He said yep I cancelled it and I said well wait if my husband is standing there and it will be 15 minutes don't cancel it. He said he cancelled it already and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a woman the second time and she said that they are behind and my order hadn't even gone in the oven yet but it was in line (this was at 7:10pm). So I asked, the text I got at 6:58 saying it was in the oven was a lie then? And she said oh yeah they probably sent that text to the wrong person. Didn't offer to comp anything just said she could cancel and give me a refund or put it in the oven and it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. One of the worst customer service experience I've ever had. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We planned a surprise birthday party for my hubby- for 20-22 of us! It was a marvelous event. The pizzas were delicious and the big giant pizza was quite a hit. We had salad, pitchers of soft drinks, appetizer bread sticks (which they cut in half, at my request, to make them go further) and we were able to bring our own dessert. So much caring, friendly, and fast service. I asked for food to be served at 6:50pm and it was, right on time. Rev S was amazing in arranging and serving it all. One detail I find so special and so ecologically admirable was the fact of the real silverware and china plates. Classy, fun, and mouth-watering!

The manager was super helpful and kind, getting our food out as quickly as possible and communicating with us!
I’ve grown up coming to Taranto’s with my family, this was always one of our staple restaurants. After college I moved to Texas and finally made the trip back home for the holidays for the first time in 5 years. I’m disappointed to say that this is not the same Taranto’s I’ve grown up with. Not sure if they’re under new management or something but the service was TERRIBLE. I work in the restaurant management industry and am always pretty understanding of mistakes, however I don’t see any excuse for the service we received today. After grabbing a table it took over 30 minutes to receive our appetizer, mozzarella sticks. I know those can’t take more than 10 minutes (that’s generous) to throw in the fryer. Our 2 pizzas took an additional 20 minutes after the appetizer.Once we finished we sat and waited for an additional 20 minutes waiting for the check. I actually had to get up from the table to ask, and we were the only ones in the restaurant at that point. The food was good, not great, but just be warned you’re going to be waiting a while for it.

We love Taranto's and we eat here regularly. Shannon (the new owner) has remodeled and updated the ambiance and the food is always top notch. Everything tastes really fresh and the workers seem happy. A great family spot for dinner.Vegetarian options: Incredible salads and super tasty pizza and sub veggie options.
The gluten-free pizzas here are AMAZING. If you are gluten-free then this is the place to go. The service is fun and kind. The whole store is very welcoming and I enjoy it every time I go.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free options are amazing.

I think the place is under new management and it shows. Used to love their pizza, but ordered one the other day with just 3 toppings. The left off the one topping entirely, and pizza was way under cooked. Not going to get any more of my business. How complicated is it to make a pizza?

Taranto's make some great pizza - I especially love their crust with just the right amount of chew. But for me, the star of the show is the vegan pepperoni - the best I've ever had!Vegetarian options: Amazing veg-friendly pepperoni!! And their vegan cheese is really nicely done, not the gluey/slimy stuff I've had elsewhere.
