Really nice lunch spot. Great food, great service. The salad was very fresh and crisp, the dressings were homemade, the fried items were crispy and golden. The soup came steaming and smelled delightful. Will definitely eat here again.

Arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday night and was greeted and asked if we had a reservation. Told them we were meeting our party on the patio and it felt like she did not believe us. Made us feel like we did not belong there. Once they found out who our party was then they were happy to seat us knowing who we were with. We felt it was odd since there were a lot of empty tables that they made us feel that a reservation was required. The veggie flatbread and drinks were okay but pricey. Flatbread was a little dry needed more dressing. The deviled eggs were 10.00 for six half eggs. Used to be a fun friendly place but has changed not sure if we will return. We felt judged like we not good enough to be there.

Charming place but the food is overpriced and certainly not worth the money. I had the pot roast and mashed potatoes. The meat was very dry, the carrots were raw, and the mashed potatoes were very thick and sticky (instant potatoes). The fried banana peppers were disappointing as well.

Interesting building hastily renovated. We were 3 of maybe 12 people, and our food still took about 90 minutes. Burger was ok but the salmon was frankly terrible. Honorable mention to the $8 French Onion soup that had a piece of deli Swiss just dropped into it after the fact. Spend less money for a better meal elsewhere.
I used to eat here a couple times a month. It was my favorite place! I can’t even tell it’s the same restaurant anymore. The eggs I once loved were inedible, pure salt. The cheeseburger was a hockey puck with a burnt bun. The Shepards pie was some sort of Italian concoction with severely undercooked veg. I’m heartbroken. Don’t waste your money

Came in around 5:30PM on a Saturday, just the 2 of us in the restaurant. Waited about an hour for food, I got the shepherds pie and my mother got the swire burger. The Shepards pie was super greasy and way overcooked and her burger was super dry and quite literally had no seasoning. When the waitress came by and saw that we barely ate our food, I was hoping she’d make a comment but instead offered boxes and asked repeatedly if we wanted dessert. Just sad, we used to come here so often and I hardly ever leave reviews but this used to be my favorite restaurant and I think tonight solidified that we will never be back.

Overall, we had a great experience!
The service was exceptional, drinks were fantastic, and food was pretty good. It was a little stuffy inside, but not unbearable. They have daily variations of deviled eggs if that’s your thing, and live music regularly (however this wasn’t happening at the time we were there). We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back to enjoy some live music another day. 🍹
