I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told that it would arrive in 35 minutes. One hour later it had not arrived. I stepped out on my porch to see if by chance someone was coming to deliver it. The pizza was laying on the porch. No one rang my doorbell or knocked on my door. Worst service ever!
Showed up super late then they intially said and it was luke warm. And they messed up our order. SMH. Never again.

The store messed up our order, and did not notify us. When we called 30 minutes after our quoted delivery time the woman who answered the phone cursed at us and hung up. We never got our food. Terrible customer service on this instance. It’s unfortunate because we love their food.

At least they have the pizza sizes right 12" small, 14" medium, 16" Large. But charging $20 for 1 Large is insane. A large cheese should be $10 period. Price gouging will lose you customers.

I’ve enjoyed supporting the business near me and have patronized this particular pizza place multiple times. As of late, the orders aren’t ever right. The ones answering the phones always appear to be distracted causing a repeat of order. They’ll read it back and will still get it wrong. Tonight’s order never arrived. Either the manager/owner is unaware, disconnected or the business is closing soon 🤷🏽♂️. Used to be the go to! Not so much these days.

We’ve been ordering from Gionino’s for a while now and love the thick crust, attention to details of the order, and overall quality. However, we just ordered recently and the price seems a lot higher than it used to be. As in, $28 and change for one large pizza. Seems a bit overpriced at this point in my opinion.

This place is going down hill. It used to be a Friday night tradition. Today is the last Friday! Step up your game and maybe I'll be back
This place has really gone down hill. Didn’t bring all of our order and what they did bring was cold. Really cold. And they charge you for 1 ranch packet? Time to find a new pizza place. So sad cause this was our go to.

We order from here all the time and the house Italian dressing is wonderful. That being said after a long day of work I ordered salad and wings for my husband and I and were quoted 50 minutes for delivery. That did not happen. We are 8 minutes from the restaurant and if we had known it would take an hour and 40 minutes to arrive we would have just picked it up. Wings were cold by the time it got here.

Order the buffalo chicken pizza and was super excited at 9 months pregnant to eat when it arrived only to find paper towel baked into the pizza. I am disgusted because lord knows I was inhaling it and how much I may have swallowed before I realized. I called the store and the manager seemed like it wasn’t a big deal and he would just make me another one. Um no thanks. How about we hire people who pay attention to what they’re doing because how do you miss this when preparing the food. DISGUSTED.

This place is going to the dogs. New owners jacking up the prices, slow service and online deals listed but not working. Not to mention the deals that do work being upped in price.
They’re going to drive off the loyal customers they have charging over $20 for a large one topping. Jumped their wing prices back up too, last I checked that shortage was over.

Food was good but unfortunately in my 3 experiences they were consistently super slow and rude
I'm an Akron native who grew up on Gioninos, and occasionally get enough of a craving to make the 45 min drive each way (1.5 hrs total) to get it since moving down here. For the first time in my 30+ yrs of eating Gioninis, I had a truly disappointing pizza last night. I debated saying anything, cause I love this place and their pizza, but I did see they have new ownership so wanted to share the feedback. I'm totally a crust girl, but something was wrong with the dough. It was very flat and the end crust, which I usually can't wait to eat, tasted bland and like uncooked flour. It made the pizza oddly flavorless. Also, the onions were put under the cheese, so they didn't get cooked. It was disappointing enough that I likely won't have the craving again for a long while, or I'll wait till I'm back in Akron to get the OG. JoJo's were still on point though! Hope y'all can figure out the crust!

They have currently had no ownership. We ordered a pizza today and it was the best we have had from there and have been a customer since they opened. Bez (new owner) is doing amazing things!!
