Very nice area to sit and relax with beautiful views.

The wine was good, but the large cheese board was so cheap for $18. We were really disappointed to see precut cheddar, Colby, and pepper jack cheese. With a little (I'm assuming also store bought meat) and some packets of stale Club and Ritz crackers. The least they could have done was include photos of this gas station-style charcuterie board. Wish we got the pizza which smelled heavenly.

I just wanted to make sure that now it's the end of the season that I expressed how amazing we think that Dominic who worked this summer is. We come to the island just about every other weekend and we stay at the carriage house often when we stay and he has went above and beyond to make sure that not only is our stay great but when we visit the winery we have everything we need. My 10 year old son thinks it's incredible that he remembers him each time he comes in and knows he always comes in for a chocolate strawberry. We have come to the island for many many many years and the service is always great but Dominic definitely shot it above and beyond. The view here is to die for too!

Frozen wines are pretty good. Pricey!

Always a favorite with on the island. The chocolate covered strawberries are delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful! Enjoy privacy in the gazebo out back, or join the patio or grassy areas for an enjoyable time watching the golf carts drive by and watching the marina.

We stopped in around lunch to sample wines and have a light snack. Sitting at the bar gave us a great view of the marina and lake and pleasant conversation with our server, a young lady from Kansas City majoring in hospitality (where she should fit great). The four wines we sampled - peach, Gertz, berry and ice - were all excellent (unlike the wines from another winery which were all terribly unpleasant). Wines were marked at a fair price. The menu was limited and we originally planned to get a pizza (which looked excellent when one was being served to a nearby table). Instead we opted for cheese, salami, and crackers just for lighter eating. While the presentation was lacking - a box serving - it was just what we needed. Maybe a little overpriced, but there was plenty of cheese and after all - what a Put-in-Bay isn't a bit pricey. Great wine, great setting, great service.

Wonderful staff and experience! Would recommend to anyone of all ages! George was our energetic friendly and charismatic tour guide and we loved hearing all the plethora of stories and history he had to share with us about the island and this lovely winery! Cannot wait to go back again :)

The tour was one of our favorite parts of our trip. It’s just $10 and includes a historical tour and several glasses of wine. All of their wine is very sweet, so if you don’t have a sweet tooth start on the dry end.

Can't beat the view of the bay and boats. Could be there all day

The is a beautiful winery. It was so relaxing to try and wine flight and sit outside enjoying the lake view. The inside and outside is very inviting and comfortable. The wines were very nice. Their selection of dry wines is very good.
Good Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. If you like sweet stuff they sell a chocolate wine. But I recommend you stay with the two whites I mentioned. Outside area is nice to seat, talk and enjoy the wine.

Great winery, except they need to take care of the flag! Such disrespect! Please replace the American flag !

The floors were uneven. The place was dirty. Was taking a picture of ice house. The cement floor was dangerously uneven, therefore, fell. My entire left side was injured. Bruises, big cut on left side check, sore jaw, neck sore. Possible concussion. Advise people not to tour, especially with mobility issues.

The tour guy (Mike) was really great. Wines very in sweetness/dryness. Chocolate wine is a must to try, it's very different from all the wines you tried before. The tour is pretty informative and inside the house is fun to explore. Very affordable, too. Highly recommended.
