Three times now have waited over an hour for our food while people who came in after us were getting theirs. We've never had a large group and there weren't that many people so don't understand what the hold up was.

I had been wanting to come here for a long time and finally did last night. The food was great from start to finish. The garlic rolls and salad were delicious, as was the entree. I took a chance and ordered the special, eggplant parmesan. The eggplant was lightly breaded and fried to perfection. The marinara sauce was also wonderful. Our server was very attentive. The price was also very reasonable--my boyfriend and I each ordered entrees and two beers apiece and it was only around $50. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Will be coming back.

Server said they had no Parmesan cheese and wanted a lime for r the beer. We asked again and she said not yet? Chicken Parmesan chicken patty wasn’t nit freshly done there. You could tell it was a frozen patty. None of us will go back

Food subpar, service slow. We felt sorry for the server. They had more greeters than servers. Manager walked past us several times with no food or drinks on our table and he didn’t interact with us at all. Took at least half an hour after we ordered anything each time. Definitely never going back.

Will not go back or recommend to anyone. Ordered 2 sides: grilled mixed vegetables and grilled shrimp. Vegetables consisted of 3/4 red onion, a few dime-size pieces of broccoli and red pepper. I didn't order grilled onions with a smattering of broccoli and red pepper! Shrimp was good, small amount for the $7.95 price and could not give me cocktail sauce--"don't have any." Offered marinara instead. Really?!

Great Italian restaurant. Spot on with the food. Never leave hungry, that's for sure. Had the Lasagna. Plenty of seating. Easy access for parking.Parking: Parking along the street or across from it in the parking garage.

The $18.95 manicotti special was not edible. It was a pasta tube filled with hamburger instead of the expected ricotta cheese, with very little sauce. I couldn't eat it so I brought it home to my hubby. He put ketchup on the hamburger filling and said it didn't even mask the odd taste. So into the trash it went. ??

It was okay, certainly below average for a self-proclaimed Italian Restaurant. I've never been to an Italian restaurant where the chef/cook wasn't able to make a Carbonara, especially one where they couldn't make stuffed manicotti to order (apparently it would be ready by 4pm???). Drab interior, slow drinks/service, most of the menu was described as "Frozen to fryer" by staff.Moderately priced for what you get - Cook forgot to add an ingredient to my Calzone, but they were sure to charge me for it even though I brought it up that it was missing (it was a $1, but still..).Insanely hard to park close to, all close spots are 30min spots, have to go 2 streets over for 1hr parking or pay for parking. Not their fault, but you'd think they'd petition the city for front street side spots - assuming they ever get that busy.Overall, not worth a second visit unless drastic changes are made.

I dined with several coworkers before going to see a FANTASTIC musical/play at the John Legend Theater ("Mean Girls," put on by Springfield City Schools). I got the chicken marsala, which had a rich sauce and tasty mushrooms, along with a side salad and warm garlic rolls. They also had gnocchi soup, which someone else got and looked very tantalizing! I will definitely go back! :)

4/22/23.This was my third time visiting Fratelli's. The previous two times, the food tasted good, but service was slow and our food had to be sent back to be re-warmed. We live in Columbus, but visit friends in Springfield often. We always eat local to support local, non-chain eateries.I took my family and three friends. The hostess and server were very kind. Unfortunately, that's the end of the 'good'. We arrived at 6:28 p.m., our food arrived at 7:48 p.m. A glass of wine and 3 of the 7 salads were missing and ended up being served with the food. All seven meals were cool, yes, cool. It was obvious our food had been sitting in the kitchen a LONG time. Other reviews hit the nail on the head: Fratelli's desperately needs to get it together. Pasta is cheap...asking prices are too high even with better quality and service. The persistent issue with the service and not receiving hot food is too much to overlook.I'll be giving my business to Linardos Villa going forward. For the thirty years we have been eating at Linardos, food is always fantastic, prices are very fair and we have never had poor service nor cold food.

Food was amazing. One of the items I ordered was running late so I was given a free drink, which was highly appreciated. Servers were nice and so was the manager.

This place is horrible. We are currently here, and have been here for 1.5 hours. Everyone at the table has ate and is completely finished and we have 1 person still waiting on her lasagna. 1 person at our table ordered cheese ravioli and it came out cold and 2 of them were stuffed with meat. Our bill came out wrong. And after writing this….. we still haven’t got the lasagna we are waiting for. My pizza came out not cut, which wasn’t a big deal, but gosh we paid $20 for this 14 inch pizza.

Our food took forever, when we asked the server he said that someone took my plate and gave it to another table, my husband's food was ready do I asked him to bring it I didn't care that mine was a little latter, but when my husband's food arrived was cold. the food was not really tasty, I got alfredo pasta and I was not impressed, same with my husband's lasagna.

Ate here for the first time with the family. Thought the atmosphere was nice. The service wasn't all that good and the food came cold. Had to get it warmed up. We didn't ask for much but had to call for our server multiple times to get our refills, checks and even silverware instead of her juet checking on us periodically. For 80$ for 3 people really expected better. Probably won't try it again.Only thing I thought was decent was the bread.
