Monthly Wine Tastings Black Kite hosts a wine tasting on the 2nd Thursday of each month. It was a nice atmosphere not a lot of people maybe about 20 in total I had a tiny bit of food. The wines will be in the photo provided. The service was fast and the wine distributor explained everything perfectly about the wine.

I enjoyed my coffee from here. It wasn't overly sweet, and the honey wasn't cloying. It was a nice smooth coffee that commercial companies could not hope to achieve.

Stopped here on our way cross country. I tried the banana nut latte and my brother got a regular coffee and we both enjoyed them very much. Cute decor and friendly staff. I would visit again. ( only is thing was that they advertise breakfast on their menu that didn't appear to be available when we got there)Not sure if we were too early, bc all they had were pre - made wrapped sandwiches and pastries that looked a little old. But the drinks were really good.

Good coffee, friendly service, and great vibe.Just found this place… been around since 2012 so I need to get out more…. And stopped in for a quick drip. I also enjoyed a “bagel ball”. What is a bagel ball you ask? Well, it’s a round bagel filled with deliciousness. Cream cheese and depending on what type you get, could range from pickle, chives, or sausage and egg. I’ll definitely be back to try some.

I could barely taste the espresso in my flavoured latte- just sweet syrup. Barely anyone inside but almost all tables were full of crumbs when we looked for a place to sit. Bagel balls were fantastic though!!

We waited 20 minutes for 2 lattes with one couple in front of us. I LOVE black kite, but this coffee was below average. The two baristas were just showing each other pictures on their phones and moving at an unnaturally slow pace.

Wow! It took 20 minutes for the 4 people behind the counter to get my drink and it was wrong. There were 3 other mistake orders prior to mine. Take names for your orders, people! I’ve never seen confusion calmly denied like this.
The location and interior are very nice but the two barista working that day were who actually ruined the vibe with their completely "whomp whomp" demeanor. Personality will not be found behind this counter if that is what you seek.

I don't know how long they've been around but I've only discovered them recently while dropping off my daughter at her school. It's in dowbtown, Toledo, near a high school so I presume they get a lot more traffic in the afternoon than in the morning. The location and the parking situation isn't the most convenient in my opinion. My usual time of visit is around 8am, and I barely see customers in there. I've gotten their "specialty" coffees and their seasonal ones multiple times, and they have all been great. Personal favorite is the Aztec Mocha, which is a spicy cafe mocha. There aren't too many places with spicy coffee options around town so any time I want a spicy coffee, my go-to will have to be here. All the other coffees I've gotten were good, too.
