I just had the most delicious vegan breakfast! I had the sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage and cheese muffin, home fries, and a strawberry white chocolate chip cookie. The food was seasoned just right and the textures were precise! That cookie had me dancing all the way home!!!

This is an INCREDIBLE place! The food is absolutely delicious and 100% vegan. Even if you’re not vegan, I promise the food will be to your liking. Seriously. The staff is very friendly and the owner even came out and greeted us while we were eating. The atmosphere is beautiful and has a lot of seating indoors and outside. The biscuit bowl was insane! So many flavors and so filling! They not only have a large, tasty menu with a lot of options, they also have a lot of great desserts to choose from. We traveled over 3 hours to give this place a try, and we do not regret it. You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant!

What can I say? We love this place. Summertime sitting on the patio for breakfast, our favorite dish bring the Biscuit Bowl. Coffee to die for. Lunch we love taco salad, chik’n sandwich, chik’n chunks, especially sweet chili, their French fries are so good especially with their ketchup. The service is always friendly and outstanding. What a treat to have a vegan restaurant in Toledo!

This is THE place to go for excellent vegan food in Toledo! This was my second visit - on my first visit, I forgot to take pictures because I gobbled down my food too quickly!I love the Leaf and Seed because they serve the food that I really missed being able to have at restaurants with friends and family - chikn wraps, chikn chunks, nachos, etc. They also have desserts, beer, and local kombucha.Today, we ordered the Chikn Bacon Wrap and BBQ Chikn Chunks, which we both loved. I don't know how they make the chikn, probably through some kind of magic, but even my non-vegan boyfriend loves it because it looks, tastes, and feels like chicken.I have to call out how good the fries are here. They remind me of Five Guys fries.I tried their artichoke burger from the food truck before, and it's beautiful. It's very reminiscent of a crab cake. I am a snobby New Englander, so this is the highest of compliments!We also got two cupcakes to go - Lemon Lavender and Strawberry Lemon! You will be full and satisfied when you leave the Leaf and Seed.PS: They have their own parking lot, so you don't have to dread parallel parking.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan! It's like paradise for vegans.

I never write reviews but I just had to for The Leaf and Seed Cafe. I am not a vegetarian or vegan. In fact, I consider myself to be a meat eater and I have never had a vegetarian meal. However, I decided to give it a whirl based on recommendations from my family and I just have to say, "WOW!" I ordered the Crispy Chikn Sandwich with chips and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, it was probably one of the best sandwiches I have had in a very long time. We also purchased some cookies and they were also very delicious. I had the strawberry white chocolate cookie and it was to die for. If you're in the neighborhood OR willing to travel, I would highly recommend giving them a try. We will definitely be going back and I'm telling all of my friends too!
I first tried Leaf and Seed food truck last year and fell in love with the food. Just recently went to the restaurant, it surpassed my expectations. Took the family tonight and EVERYONE fell in love with the food. My son said the cookie was the best he has ever had. The sauces are exceptional. The service is great, it is nice going to a place that considers you a friend.

Absolutely fantastic! Artichoke cakes were the best we have ever had! Ordered the Reuben and southwest wrap. The homemade chips were nicely seasoned! Food was so good we ordered buffalo wrap and muffins to go! The muffins were awesome! Owner came out to say hello and told us how she sourced fresh food locally and had just been to farmers market that morning. Staff was super friendly. Definitely a must try if in area. Easy on off the highway!!

First tried this food via the food truck at old west end festival and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. I got the crispy chiken sandwich, my mom got the Southwest wrap and my aunt got the Reuben. All of the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

TLDR: I recommend never using their website because if the website has not been updated properly, they do not attempt to reach out to you at all until you arrive. When you do arrive, there are no attempts to accomodate the inconvenience.I ordered on the restaurant's online website. When I arrived, I was told that my entree was only a special and that they didn't have it, so the entree was refunded.The website shows items that are out of stock, but this one was not listed as that.She then handed my bag to me and left it at that for me to be on my way.I understand when an order is door dash, and calls are not made, but for a direct order, this seems a bit cold, especially for a non chain restaurant at 2:30 pm.Considering this was the main entree, if the restaurant is unable to call a customer when an order is unavailable, I would expect there could have been an offer of reassuring a rush on whatever I chose as a replacement.As a customer, I'd rather not be left in a position of demanding a rushed order, I expect the staff to be volunteering something like that and to be a bit more understanding regarding the inconvenience.I left with just a kids meal and no adult entree because I did not have time to wait for a possibly non-rushed redo.Maybe I just hit the restaurant when staff was having an off day. I won't give up on them yet because I have been so excited to try the food here. I gave 5 stars for the food because I tried 1 nacho chip, and it was great.
