Okay so here’s a spot in Toledo Ohio. Located on the campus of The University of Toledo. The Prez rated this place an 8.1; said it was the best campus pie ever!! They have a water filter / conditioner that replicates NYC water. I’ve tried 4 different pies in 2 days. From simple cheese to the Pickle pizza, Rocco’s meat lover and Johnny’s Special. One thing I can say is damn! This is excellent pizza, the dough is so light, thin and crispy. It’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. I get the 8.1; I’d go as high as 8.5 if not higher. Hands down best pizza in Toledo and better than so many more places. As far as my palate, it’s better than anything I’ve had in the Houston metropolitan area. Zero flop, undercarriage is excellent. I’m for sure going back before I leave. If you’re ever in Toledo; this place is a must.

Pricey but delicious. I ordered carryout from the bar in a busy Tuesday night while trivia was going on. I ordered my pizza well done but I'd say it came out as a standard bake, this the middle, inside portion turned out floppy. I ate half of it and several hours later had the other half at room temperature. At that time, the entire crust had a great structure to it. It's really this great crust that makes this pizza with solid toppings also on the 3 meat pizza I had. Not quite the 8.1 Portnoy gave it, I'd go 7.85.

Nestled in the NW corner of the University of Toledo. I had a slice of pepperoni and Giavanna’s White. Went with a group of 7 spontaneously on a Sunday. Sat at a high top table. Fun atmosphere.
