We went for the creamery in the back, which was great. Food was just ok. They were out of ribs at 7 on a Saturday...okay, but again just okay. I feel mission BBQ is much better...just my opinion.

Soooooo delicious ? Everything on the menu tastes great. Best Brisket around for at least a thousand miles in any direction. It melts in your mouth!! And I just can't get enough of the Blackberry smoke BBQ sauce. I get a jar every time I visit. Can't wait for the next meal from Cockeye's

Great variety of BBQ. Had the pulled pork & slaw. You can pick your own BBQ sauce or just go plain.My buddy had the brisket chunks & onion rings which looked great. Try some of the other sides also. I guarantee you won't go home hungry. After lunch we "slid" over to the Cockeye ice cream concession located in the parking lot adjacent.Flavors were different & texture unusual but very smooth. Great outing for a Saturday afternoon so give it a shot U won't be sorry.?

Cockeyes is a family favorite for BBQ. The briskets tender. The greens are nice and vinegary, no need to add more. The Mac n cheese, cheese curds, burgers, and fried chicken that’s perfectly seasoned and crispy…. All finger licking good. Everything on the menu I’ve pretty much had and love.The ice cream is beyond words good. The seasonal flavors always hit the spot. It’s so good they’re starting to sell it in grocery stores around here. The little ice cream shop out back is convenient and cute.When my girlfriend (from Cleveland but living in Florida) came into town this was the first place I ordered from to give her a taste of home. Long Live Cockeyes!!
This was the worst BBQ I’ve had in a while. The ribs, dry…..the bark was flavorless and the texture of beef jerky. Pulled chicken had no smoke taste or seasoning. The pulled pork was ok at best. I’ve had better hash puppies from LJS. Please don’t come here if you want

Everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious! The BBQ is so outstandingly good I want to try everything! I've been working my way through the menu with repeat visits. My favorites so far, the full slab of succulent ribs, the brisket, the pulled pork, the fritters and the potato salad! The meat is unbelievably tender and juicy with a perfect smoke! Barry Dyngles BBQ doesn't even come close to the taste of Cockeye bbq! (To me Dyngles tastes like pressure cooked meat). The portions are generous! It's so cool that they have a big variety of bbq sauces to choose from! It's fun trying them all! I've narrowed my favorites down to 4 different sauces. The potato salad is something I always have to have, I don't know what the green herb is (dill maybe?)but it makes this creamy potato salad different and I crave it! I always do a take out order, but there is a seating area if you want to take your order and sit down and eat there. People have said the neighborhood is not the best, but I've not had any problems. They have a small parking lot that fills up when they're busy. The only item on the menu I tried and didn't like was the cornbread, but we all can be picky about cornbread( sweet vs not sweet, white vs yellow cornmeal, etc). I love dessert with my meal and they do not disappoint! They have homemade desserts that depend on what the chef wants to make that day! Warren is very fortunate to have a carryout restaurant with this high quality bbq. If you love bbq and haven't tried it, you're missing out!

I really like the food choices. The portions fill you up very quickly. I have yet to try all of their sauces. The yellow Belly is one of my favorite sauces, especially with the pulled pork and brisket.My only complaint is the lack of Soft Drink options, not a huge bottle fan.Great place to go, would definitely go back soon.
