I normally get our birthday and graduation cakes from here. Most recently I purchased a graduation cake for my son’s high school graduation. I have never had a negative experience. The cakes are always delicious and very pretty. Their desserts are good too.

I ordered a cake for a friend’s birthday and they did not disappoint! The cake was moist and tasted great but most of all it was BEAUTIFUL and everyone was asking where I got if from. Thank you for helping us in making a great memory!

We chose Ele Cake for our wedding cake and were so glad we did! From the taste testing to making sure every detail was what we wanted, I couldn’t be happier! We truly had a great experience from beginning to end with Ariell helping us along the way. Our wedding cake turned out perfect! Thank you Ele Cake! We went with a 3 tiered cake with white and chocolate cake and 3 different fillings. Delicious! *Credit to Mark’s Photo and Video LLC for the photo.

Last minute picking a cake for my daughters birthday party. I didn’t realize the icing was scrapped off until we got in the car to go home. It doesn’t look great. And the handwriting is not very well done on it.

We have been supporting this local buisness for 20 years now and its still just as good as the first time. No need to pre order they have a huge selection when you walk inside. The buttercream icing is the best icing I have ever had.

I stopped in at the West Carrollton location to pick up a chocolate birthday cake for myself. This cake is sooooo good I can't stop eating it! I didn't preorder it; just stopped in. I always get my cakes here and I always get chocolate with the buttercream frosting! I think they're the best! Thank you for being there for us :)

I'm please with the customer service. I went to the store on Thursday and had 42 cupcakes ready for pick on Saturday. Thank you for the great service. The cupcakes were a hit!

THE TREATS-This is the only place I go for cakes, cupcakes, and desserts (with the exception of Dorothy Lane Market for Killer Brownies and nothing bundt cakes for the mini bundts). The buttercream icing is outstanding. I enjoy both the white and the chocolate cake, however, my family prefers the white cake. I love the chocolate cake with the buttercream icing which puts me in mind of the Ho Ho's of my childhood (Ho Ho's back in those days were fresh, chocolaty, and literally melted in your mouth-I know that is not what they are like today). The carrot cake dessert cake at Ele' with nuts-if you are fortunate enough to be able to eat nuts-is stellar. This cake has a combination of buttercream AND cream cheese icing. It is so rich and is absolutely WONDERFUL. THE LOCATION-I always go to the West Carrolton location because the dessert case always has a variety of options including cookies, cakes, extra icing, etc. In addition, there is a parking lot that is relatively large. That makes it easy to get in and out, unlike the Austin Landing location. There is always something that will work for the occasion. THE ONLY DRAWBACKS-I have limited criticism. One thing I will mention is regarding the birthday cake decor. It is nothing special, most of the cakes are cute, but they are not exactly elegant professional-looking designs. This being said, the dessert cakes are lovely in appearance. In addition, I order online, I love paying in advance. I don't love having to stand in line when I have prepaid, especially when the store is busy. I wish that Ele' could devise a pickup area for prepaid orders, versus having to wait with all of the people who are trying to decide on the many delectable desserts. THE CLOSING-Despite the simple, unimpressive birthday cake designs, the taste of any cake or dessert you have from Ele' should not disappoint you. I have been going here for years now, and am never let down. I just ordered a carrot cake for my weekend party, and am looking forward to this mouthwatering treat! UPDATE-The cake was fabulous. 4 guest and only one piece left.

Living next to Austin Landing, Ele was my favorite brunch spot; even beating out Another Broken Egg! They always have such unique takes on classic brunch dishes like shrimp and grits or a BLT or a hash. Plus, the mimosas and bloody Mary's are fabulous. I've actually never purchased wine or cupcakes from here, but they have those too!

A big cake shop and cupcake store. They also have a gift shop and a coffee place. The cup cakes are presented very well. But the frostings are a tad bit on the sweeter side for me. The also have a lot of cakes for birthdays/occasions. The staff are friendly and polite. The coffee (cappuccino) was ok.

Recently I visited Ele in West Carrolton for the first time. I spent better than $50 and bought a carrot cake, 6 brownies of three different flavors, 6 lemon cupcakes, and 6 peanut butter cookies; all items that should have distinct flavors. Nope. They all tasted almost the same: practically no flavor at all. They looked really pretty, but tasted little better than cardboard. I will never bother going there again. My own baking doesn't look as pretty but at least it tastes good. If your tastebuds still function after Covid, and you like flavorful food and baked goods, cook and bake at home before you waste your money here. Oh, and the staff behind the counter were indifferent, at best. It was an assembly line set up and it tasted like one; no one really cared, and love was not an ingredient in these baked goods. Think about it: by getting in your vehicle, going to the bakery, waiting in line, choosing and buying your item, going back to your car and driving home...you've already spent a good 30 minutes. Put that 30 minutes toward baking your own cake, cupcake or cookies, even from a boxed mix (!) and you'll have a much better tasting product. Add the ingredient of love and it will taste terrific! It'll also cost a fraction! Don't waste your money on these cardboard confections.

OMG. I know this place is supposed to have great pastries but their service for coffee is lacking in all aspects. After several minutes finally got my coffee which they put cream and sugar in (and not enough). Waited another 15 minutes for the hot chocolate we ordered. In the meantime I got my money back for the lukewarm coffee I was given. (Gave it back). We started to leave since the girl disappeared and still no hot chocolate. Saw her on the way out at the coffee bar which had previously been unmanned. She says it's almost done. What the heck? A few more minutes. You've got to be kidding. How long does hot chocolate take? She went in the back and we finally gave up and left. Several people in line and the help moves at two paces. Slow and slower.

Everything was beautiful inside and very clean. I only went to the bakery, there also a restaurant and wine bar. The cookie was amazing. The cupcakes were alright and the buckeye was wonderful. Thins cost 2-5 dollars. There was a full case of outings when I arrived. I had to get a bit of a variety. The cake is fluffy and loaded with icing. Everything was really sweet. That's the point right? I liked the cookies over everything else.

The buttercream frosting was terrible; it tasted like a cheap combination of margarine and candy corn. It left me wondering if there is butter in the buttercream at Ele. The cake underneath the frosting was supposed to be chocolate but did not taste like it had any cocoa in it at all. It was dry, bland, and not at all fluffy or moist. I have had cake from Ele for years, and before that, I had cake from Woody's throughout my childhood. This was by far the worst cake I have ever had from Ele or Woody's, and one of the worst cakes I've had from anywhere. Neither my husband nor I finished our slices of cake, and even my daughters (ages five and nine) did not finish their slices and commented on the poor taste. Frosting and cake have to taste pretty awful for children not to enjoy them.
