Delicious everytime!!! Our server Manuel was amazing. He's fast, curious and always friendly
Food and service were both good. Like many Mexican restaurants in Central Ohio. Prices were average with nice size portions.
This place is great! The food is really good and the employees are very nice. Drinks are big and dishes are filling! Our server tonight, Nancy was amazing! She was polite and attentive(:
I love this place. The food is awesome, and they are extremely friendly.
The restaurant was very clean the service was wonderful the food was delicious!
Food is tasty, a nice gem in Zanesville, but surprised/bummed that they’re charging extra for salsa and chips now. They used to be free with the meal like most Mexican restaurants.
We have driven by Tlaquepaque for many years and always said we would like to stop and try it. We are so glad we did. The interior is so bright and appealing. Love the chairs! The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff attentive. I had the Enchiladas Deluxe and in my opinion they were the best I had ever had. I savored every bite and will definitely be coming back the next time we are over in Zanesville.
We are repeat diners at Tlaquepaque and our experience has been positive nearly every time. The owners have brought an incredibly authentic menu of Mexican fare to Zanesville. You can expect to find the staples that you are accustomed to seeing at Mexican eateries, but you should also treat yourself and try some of the truly traditional offerings. A highlight is the Chile Relleno, a cheese-stuffed chili that has been fire roasted. While we can talk about the selection of food, it is important that I mention the absolute quality of the meals. I have heard it said that “Mexican restaurants all have the same thing”. While it is true the dishes comprise many of the same components, the excellence of the food sets them apart. It is apparent that the owners take this as a point of pride. Each meal comes with, what I consider to be, the best salsa around and a basket of house-made tortilla chips. Another recommended appetizer to kick off the meal is Queso Fundito – a blend of warm melted cheese loaded with spicy chorizo. The steak, chicken, or combo fajitas are second to none. For us, they are the best that you can get and come recommended! The restaurant is always impeccably clean when we visit, and the wait staff and owners are hard-working and genuinely happy to have you there. All of these combine to make Tlaquepaque our favorite Latin food “go to”. ¡Disfrute de su comida!
Very quick service, kind and attentive waitress. We had an early dinner with 5 people (4 adults and 1 child) Everyone got something different and nobody had any complaints. Reasonable pricing as well. Can't wait until their new location in Heath
What this restaurant does well is large portion sizes, good service and provide a very unique eclectically designed interior. However, the food itself comes up short for me. The flavour does not punch through and the dishes come across bland. Overall, I was disappointed in the quality of the food that I received.
Walked in the doors and it was relatively busy, waited about 15 minutes for someone to come to us to ask if we had been helped yet. Never got greeted, just was told where we were sitting. Got to the table and most of our party ordered food but one person couldn’t figure out what he wanted and the server would come back a few seconds later and he came back 4-5 times and he was very noticeably irritated it took so long. And someone ordered a deluxe burrito asked them not to have refried beans, and they brought one with them and just seemed as if he could of been somewhere else better to be. And someone orders wings and asked for barbecue and they brought him mild and he is very sensitive to heat and it took everyone else finishing their food before he got his correct wings. I got a seafood quesadilla and it clearly says shrimp and crab. And I was very surprised when it came with imitation crab that is sold at Walmart. Even canned crab would of been better than getting served fish made to look like crab. I could tell it was imitation crab because most of it was long strips of it and it had the very distinct false coloring and fishy taste than a shellfish taste. If they’re gonna have a shrimp and crab quesadilla then give people real crab inside of that garbage. I get you can’t get fresh crab but canned or frozen would be better than fake crab. If they can figure they’re stuff out I’ll try it again but I’ll stick with Taco Bell
Our first visit.Stopped on our way home from our safari at the Wilds. What a great Mexican restaurant! We dined on the patio, lots of distance from other tables. We split everything starting the chips and salsa, which was thicker than some we’ve had so it clung to the chip. Our order included queso fundido which is queso with sausage mixed in as a second dip for our chips. So much we took half home. Also ordered a side of guacamole which was so fresh and tasty, went well with the chips. Our main course was fajitas pollo, chicken. This was a single serving and it was more than enough to take some home. Generous portion of chicken and veggies along with a plate of refried beans, lettuce, cheese, more guacamole, sour cream, and fluffy tortillas.Everything was as delicious. We wish we lived closer.Parking off street around the building. Our server, Lupita #1, was attentive and helpful.Muy buena comida y servicio!!!
Loved the food. It was warm and freshly cooked. They have a Decent number of vegetarian options.
I just moved to Zanesville. I've found my new Hispanic restaurant. The food is great!
