I would like to take a moment and give Steve's Rib the recognition that they deserve. The food is always great, the service is excellent and they pride themselves in employing likewise people. Steve's Rib is by far the best barbecue restaurant to eat at in comparison to home cooking. Hands down this is the place to dine at, or even choose the catering option and is also very family friendly.

Look, it’s my favorite burger in the metro (I know it’s a bbq place, don’t @ me). Absolutely fantastic smoked burger patty and about the only steak fries I like. Since they’ve stopped using servers inside the restaurant (bummer), I thought I’d start using the drive through again after not having used it for a long time. I was then told they don’t serve burgers in the drive through, even though it was on the drive through menu behind the restaurant and I have gotten them multiple times previously in the drive through. I get that policies and offerings change, but do a better job illustrating that, at least cover them up on the menu FOR the drive through. I would’ve called ahead and ordered to go if I’d known it would be a problem. Maybe also train the staff, while getting everyone acclimated to the change, that if it’s 4:30 on a Thursday and not a soul in the drive through other than the person ordering and it already takes 15 minutes to get food out the window, that they can maybe make an exception and throw in a burger that you already serve inside anyway. Clear signage and a more attuned staff would have made this experience a lot better. Having said that, I’m sure the burgers are still great, but how would I know?

Usually this place is not too bad but today I came in and sat for ten minutes with barely anyone in but at the bar top and the service was terrible. I got my own menu since the bartender didn’t ask if o want one. Then a waitress finally came and asked me if I was eating. Just a bad experience overall. I do understand about being short handed but this was not the case this go around just need to pay more attention to the customers.

We stopped here for lunch. Very reasonably priced and the food was really good and there was plenty! I'm not much on BBQ, but I REALLY liked this place! I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. Will definitely be back!

My go to spot for BBQ in Edmond. Hands down love this place! The pandemic has hit a lot of folks hard but Steve's continues to try hard to help the customer and get things right. I haven't experienced any of them less than five star ratings others have and I've been several times. Not to say situations don't happen but it's not been my experience. The ribs are always "fall off the bone" perfect with a nice smoke ring. Love the chili cheese fries even though my doctor would tell if she knew i was eating them. LOL! We also always enjoy the salad with the strawberry vinaigrette, wonderful leafy things too have when you're leaning heavier to the meat and potatoes side of things. I'm always served with a smile whether at the front counter or at the bar.

Great bbq, and friendly service.

Dry, tasteless meat. Okra was great and portions were huge, but seriously dry and zero flavor or even smokiness. Threw $20 of meat in the garbage.

Steve's Ribs is not what it used to be. I don't have a problem with them switching to order at the counter since they can't find wait staff, but the food was inedible. My chicken fried chicken arrived so overdone that it was dark brown and unidentifiable. The mashed potatoes tasted sour and the gravy was awful! The others in our party had overcooked french fries and okra. None of us finished our meals. We will not be back.

This was our first visit to Steve's Rib. The ribs, pulled pork, slaw, baked beans, onion rings and okra are excellent! The ribs were the most tender, fall off the bones I've had in ages! The rings and okra were fresh, not frozen and super tasty. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food they served. The only thing that I found a mistake, there were two BBQ sauce bottles on the table, one red the other clear. You'd think the red was hot and the clear regular. But they were the same, sweet molasses style. Very good, but would have liked a little hotter.

Didn't take pictures because I forgot. It smelled so good I didn't think of anything but eating. Cost us about $45 for a brisket sandwich, fries, beer, half order onion rings, hot link and sausage dinner, and a soft drink. Not bad for a lunch date where we were stuffed and had leftovers. I do pulled pork and ribs at home so we stayed away from that because we wanted what I couldn't make. The chopped brisket was amazing. I've had really great brisket in my life and this was on par with the best. I did use bbq sauce because I really love brisket with a smoky sauce and theirs in the red bottle was awesome. The hot link wasn't hot, I'd call it warm, but it lit my gf up and she loved it. She was raving about the potato salad and baked beans that came with hers. She loved the smokiness of the sausage and hot link as well. I had some "hazy" IPA with mine that set it over the top. Also, the steak fries are ridged which sounds weird but results in crispy steak fries that are amazing. I'm sorry this is so disorganized but that's kinda how the meal went where everything was great in its own way and also went amazingly together. We will definitely be going back. My gf was already talking about what she wanted to try next while raving about what she was having.
