The service was absolutely wonderful. The people were just great! Friendly and attentive. And the atmosphere was cute and homey. But gosh we were disappointed in the food. Very small portions, salad that didn’t seem like it was washed along with a hair in it. And the burger was just mediocre. Small and tasted like frozen beef patties. Tots tasted of stale grease. Maybe we just came on an off day. And I hate that we didn’t love it.

I don’t know what was better - the food or the people? I’m visiting from Canada and was looking at a spot for lunch. The Cow Calf Hay looked appealing! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a gentleman and he was great. A lady server checked on me often. And the burgers were amazing. Hoping to visit again before I leave. PS Don’t order the Western unless you LOVE Jalapeños….comes with a lot.

Not only did it take forever to get my food they messed up my order and I didn't think to check it before I took it to go because I was just so tired of sitting there waiting, next to no customers and it takes 40 minutes for a dadgum burger. They ended up giving me a chicken sandwich instead which I can't have because I can't have chicken. $12 down the drain. Thanks a billion!!! Doesn't bode well for my returning anytime soon if ever.

This was my first time to eat here but it will not be the last. The classic burger was a hit. I like a slab of sweet onion on my burger and that's what I got. The burger was well done but still juicy. You won't be disappointed.

This is such a hidden gem! Great options for burger toppings and the onion rings are a must! Some of the best I have ever had. You order at the window and find a seat and they bring you your food. I got the classic. The hamburgers are thin and crispy, so if you like them meaty, get a double. Super friendly service as well!! They have TV's to watch as well.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner with our toddler on a Saturday evening. The menu was simple and had a good amount of options. There was also a kid’s menu. I had the Classic Cow Cheeseburger, my husband had the Blackjack Burger, and we ordered chicken strips and fries for our kiddo. Everything was delicious, and service was quick and friendly as can be. Our daughter LOVED all the cows, and we thought the theme was delightful, too. We’ll totally eat there again next time we’re in OKC.

I’ve been going there for 12 years, but I’ll never go back now. The G.M. is a totally unprofessional j**** Yesterday I went in & had a nightmare experience. I walk in, it’s slow, nobody greets me (they usually do) and there’s only one table occupied so I sat in a booth. A few minutes later a bearded man approaches my table asking me if I was picking up an order or waiting on someone. I flatly responded, “I just want to eat.” He tells me in a condescending manner that I have to go up front to order. As if I were in trouble. I got up and went up front where he was behind the counter. Thinking he could’ve handled it better, yet I said nothing. When I got up there to order, he couldn’t let it go for some odd reason. He continued harassing me about sitting down to order. “We have a sign up at the front that says ‘order up front’” or something to that effect. I’ve been going there for 12 years, the place was nearly empty and you’re lecturing me on stupid protocol?! Many times over the years I’ve sat down and had a waitress come bring a menu, then take my order. So then I had to say something. I told him “I’ve sat down and ordered before.” He argued with me, saying “that was over 2 years ago.” Unbelievable. This unskilled goon is telling me when I last came in? I had been inside there a few weeks ago. “Actually, it happened a few weeks ago.” He keeps arguing, “I’ve been the GM here for over two years and we’ve never done it that way.” I should’ve told him my 12 years as a customer trumps his 2 years as GM. He might’ve been in high school or even junior high when I started eating there. Total j**** Poor customer service. I replied, “Well, maybe so, but it happened (ordering from a table).” He continues to argue. “No, that didn’t happen.“ I replie, “It happened.” He retorts, “No it didn’t. What would you like to order?” You think I’m letting this man prepare my food? No chance. I waved him off and said “just forget it!” and left hungry. This idiot needs to learn some food service basics. You don’t pick an argument with a customer. You do whatever you can within reason to make them comfortable and happy. He went out of his way to low-key berate me for not following his method, when the place was dead, not even packed. I wish I had given him more of a piece of my mind before leaving, but I was caught off guard, simply wanted to order a burger, pay, eat, not get lectured and argued with. Apparently that’s too much to ask with this guy as the GM of The Cow in Edmond.
