I order from Blake's online frequently & we used to never encounter any problems with our order. My husband really loves the food but we live in Yukon (I babysit my grandkids in Moore) so it's important the order is correct because it's too far of a drive if it's not. The past few times there have been issues with our order after being assured by the staff that the order was checked & it was good to go. I realize we live in a day & age where you can't count on anyone's word anymore so I guess I am to blame for not checking my order myself prior to leaving. Got all the way back to Yukon last Friday, April 30, after spending $51.70 online plus another $7.90 in the restaurant for a piece of cobbler plus a tip only to have my husband ask where was the bar b q sauce for the 2 orders of brisket. Both hot & mild were marked online. I called Blake's & the young lady told me it doesn't always come across to them when people order online so they usually ask. I told her, "Ok well no one asked me when I was in there." She did apologize & was polite. However, I don't think we'll be ordering from Blake's anymore. It's pricey & I was the only person in there at that time. It shouldn't have been that difficult to get our order right.

This was the worst dining out experience I've had in a long time. Horrible service. Very long wait for cold food. Told out of ribs after long wait. Ordered dessert more than once and finally left without it. There was not an adult working there. Customers going back into kitchen area - totally ridiculous.

We dined... or should I say , we tried to dine at this establishment today 04/27/21... We arrived at 6:05p.m. , not exactly the rush hour for dining. When we arrived the establishment was only occupied by two other fellow diners, of which they had already placed their orders and were seated at a table. My wife and I proceeded to place our order, after another thirty five minutes, the first couple's dinner arrived. After another twenty minutes we were greeted with our dinner order... surprise... the waiter enlightened me that they were out of ribs (note this is nearly an hour after the order was placed with only two patrons ahead of us).... now to add insult to injury, the order was still incomplete... I informed the waiter that we were also missing the strawberry cobbler ordered.... off the waiter goes not to return for another ten minutes to deliver an order to another set of patrons... yet again their order was not complete as ordered... but to add more to the flavor of the experience, after our dinner was delivered to the table with no utensils, i informed the staff of the lack of fine plastic-ware only to await another ten minutes for the staff to partially refill the service container with only a dozen plastic forks..... Again, we informed the staff that they still have not brought our desserts.... fifteen minutes later, we see the waitress addressing the issue and using "tongs", she tried to fill a plastic bowl with a strawberry cobbler. Watching this ordeal, we were about to announce the issue and instruct the waitress to use a spoon implement... but my wife informed me to wait... wait and another ten minutes after the tongified cobbler has been waiting on the service line for delivery, we ultimately surrendered that this was never to happen. We finally surrendered and admitted defeat, we left with a very deficit of not only ordering meals that were not delivered but compensated that the level of incompetence was nearly worth the cost of entry just to have a baseline for all other establishments to live down to. The establishment had about twenty other dining patrons that we only wish we warned before we exited the restaurant.....
Disappointed ? my wife and I love trying all the new and local restaurants. Ordered a brisket sammich with the fresh chips. Which the chips were good sammich was bland.... I ordered the roasted chicken very bland and a little dry had mac and cheese which was dried up and hard was gross could make great value mac and cheese better, my okra and the chips were the best part of the meal. Was our first and last time had been planning to try this since it opened. Finally did and was not very good.
