Restraunt was clean, service was good, but the food just wasn't great. We got fajitas. The meat was overcooked almost black. But the onions and peppers were soggy and undercooked. Refried beans were runny. Just over all not well cooked. We did not complain not send back our food because we were short on time for lunch. But we will not be back.

I ordered a takeout Quesadilla dinner. When I got back to work I opened the container and everything looked good until I took my first bite. The meat tasted like it had been under a sunlamp for hours. It was actually crispy like all the moisture had been cooked out of the meat. It was disgusting and couldn't finish anything else because I couldn't help but wonder how long this had been left out. I will not go back.

I usually love and rave about Chelino’s.I understand this location is understaffed.I have nothing else nice to really say.The chairs as well as several other things in the store were filthy.I will not return at any point in the near future.Hope the standards here are raised and met, soon.

NEEDS MORE STAFF ASAP! I came in for a dinner with my sister and grandma. Beware of the restroom! I have never seen a place needing more helping keeping up with sanitation in a restaurant. The floors were ghastly and multiple tables were left needing to be bussed from the time we arrived to the time we left. The seats at the tables "were gross and sketchy" according to my grandma. My party and I counted 3 waiters, 1 host, and 2 bartenders. Given the conditions, our service was great. Food was delicious and nothing came out incorrect, not to mention very timely. My family has always been big Chelino's fans but we have never been to a Chelino's that needed this much attention to sanitation. We agreed to come back for more good food when there was obvious attention done to staffing and sanitation.

I greatly enjoy this Mexican restaurant.I always order the enchilada dinner (cheese with onions and chili sauce) however recently I think they have changed their recipe because the texture looked different from the usual times.Is might have been just a one-time occurrence, I will have to go back to confirm my theory.Otherwise still good food to enjoy.

Worse Mexican restaurant ever. The food was very bland, no great Mexican flavors? ? The green salsa tasted like spicy grass. ? Do they use cilantro? I didn't taste any in anything... And $10 for a Patron margarita!?!? I at least expected a buzz! ?? I will never go back!

10/10 for authenticity, and for the service. 8/10 for the food, because I got a fajita tray made mostly of vegetables when I ordered beef and double shrimp fajitas. Food was still delicious though!

The staff has made great changes, they used to be rude and we’d have to go to the counter to ask for drinks, but the cooks are always worth the service. Servers probably get sick of seeing me in here but I can’t help these cravings, y’all rock & I love you all as rude as you are!! ??

They gave my to go order to someone else ( I wonder if they had the same vehicle description as me), then had to wait for them to process a refund. The reason I had to wait is they were fixing another to go order that they screwed up. Never tasted their food so I can't remark on that.

We went out to lunch with the kids, started our lunch out with a plate being dropped and hitting myself, 1 of the kids and my girlfriend (who was cut by the glass). We gave them the pieces of glass that were on our table and asked for a napkin to clean the blood from around my girlfriends eye. We were ready to order when we sat down but didn't get our order taken after an hour of waiting. They brought us multiple bowls of queso, salsa and chips, when our waitress put the bowls on the table she grabbed them in a way that dipped her thumb in each of the bowls queso and salsa. Which is when we decided to go ahead and leave. Horrible experience and we will definitely not be coming back.

Last 3 times we have been it has been awful slow service & you can’t get a refill or your waitress to come back at all. This time they brought me the food covered in sour cream instead of cheese like I ordered, they bring me out the ‘right’ plate & now instead of a fried chimichanga I get a soggy burrito covered in cheese, almost positive the sour cream was just scraped off & cheese poured on top. Plate full of food left there & the waitress never once asked if it was okay just asked if I was done, because it was evident I was not going to eat that. My dads was the wrong meat. Mom asked for fried Jalapeños, she first brought raw jalapeños had to get those sent back for the correct ones. We almost went to the Norman chelinos instead but gave this one another shot. I’ve been eating here regularly & so have my parents since they came here & it was my favorite restaurant. Not anymore! I don’t know if they have new management or what but it has gone downhill. Sad that I now have to either find a New Mexican restaurant or drive to Norman to get a good chimi.
