I smelled BBQ in Mustang and decided to try Swadleys. Was a little hesitant with their state corruption charges.They tried to charge $2.99 for a fountain drink. ($10.99 lunch special doesn’t include a drink.) Then you have to choose a tip amount when you pay with a card. So they give you cash to set on your table. It’s weird. Service and portion size need more Attention. Should the business be concerned with increasing market share more attention could be directed to the business community and increasing portion sizes especially in regards to sides.
Perfect Chicken Fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and a roll with a side salad provided a filling meal. Tried the hot links for the first time and rewarded with very tender, spicy sausage along with tender sliced smoked chicken. Liked the slaw with a light and not too thick dressing. Fries and roll rounded out the meal with several different bbq sauces.
