Driving cross country and tried to stop in at 7:30pm to get some takeout, but the doors were locked. Nobody answered the phone. Google Maps and the doors at the restaurant say they close at 8:30pm. What a disappointment. Be sure to call first.

Best chicken fry in the U.S.A. Just doing a review makes me want to go and eat there

Great little local hole in the wall eatery. Service was fast and through. The wait staff know their stuff and seem to care. The fried chicken was good and you can only order half a bird at a time. Green beens and pinto beans tasted like the way grandma used to make it. The chicken breast was cut/sliced to cook faster which dried it out. Cornbread was good but I was not a fan of the whipped butter.b not sure what it was but it was not flavorful. Decor was plentiful that gave you plenty to look at. I really liked the KISS display. With pink neon everywhere it made it challenging to take good picks

The atomosphere, food, and staff lived up to the hype. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had. It was a light batter and very tender. The ranch for the salad was super yummy homemade ranch. The green beans had bacon and were yummy. The portion is enough to share.

Wow i am surprised at all of the great reviews. Our salad was brown and swimming in ranch. The chicken fry was ok, thin, and not flavorful, green beans were great as the okra. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant, not good. Great service, loved the atmosphere but I have had much better chicken fried steak, like at the Dutch Pantry in Chouteau for starters. We wont be back, but worth going to once. We drove an hour and a half for sub par chicken fry?

DINING ROOM IS OPEN !! The absolute best environment and food in the entire Oklahoma city metro. Fried peaches, fried green tomatoes, Fried squash and the absolute BEST chicken fry steak.

Absolutely amazing!!! Friendly service! It was a great 50's themed restaurant. I started with a house salad with the garlic ranch (delicious and creamy), then had the famous chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. No seasoning needed, 100% home cooking style. Suggest everyone bring their entire family here!!! Will be returning, probably weekly

This is a great little diner that serves amazing food. It has been in the same location for years and continues to serve really good food - especially the chicken fry steak. The wait staff it friendly and helpful, It's a much needed throwback to old fashioned home cooking. Highly recommend.

Horrible. We couldn’t substitute for fries, cash only and it’s not posted anywhere, the waitress was not very forth coming with any information and personally, I wasn’t impressed with the food. Disappointed is an understatement......

Reviewed August 17, 2018Health Score 93 out of 100Left with a smile on my face and a happy belly! This is a place you must eat at if you are doing the Route 66 tour. It is an example of a retro diner that serves excellent home cooked tasting food. The gravy, mashed potatoes, chicken fry, salad dressing and the vegetable side dishes all had the great home cooked, homemade taste like you would get from a Route 66 diner many, many years ago. The walls are covered with a mesmerizing collection of musical and 50 - 70's era memorabilia, as you can see from the picture posts of other diners. What stood out? The friendly service! The wait staff is supper nice and the kitchen staff too! The service is fast. We were there at about 1:30 PM, but even though the lunch crowd was gone it was still very quick service. The food was delicious and the restaurant is clean. On the drive back to Broken Arrow, I thought about what I would have changed about the meal. It was nothing and thus the excellent rating.Note: This review and photos were originally posted on Tripadvisor by Spike S.

Chicken Fried Steak is the best, but have a big hunger or take your chief squeeze to share it with. Tender with NO gristle.
