Quaint little place underneath an apartment complex. Fantastic location if you’re going/coming from the Civic Center. We were in route to a Thunder game the evening we visited and the staff was on top of everything to ensure we got in and out in time to make it to the game. The balsamic reduced butter that pairs with the bread is out of this world. Would also highly recommend the pork chop!

Overpriced food in a mockingly fancy atmosphere. Service was less than par. Once my order was corrected, the food was decent, but far from worthy of the price charged. In my opinion, there is nothing that makes this restaurant worth what they're charging their patrons.

Great service and food! The gluten free FRESH bread is probably the best gf bread I've ever tasted. The pasta and risotto was fabulous.

The waiter made the night!! Always had a smile on his face and truly helped us on everything! Sorry I can't remember his name. But he was the star!! Just look for the young man wearing a smile. That's him!

PortonoStep into Portono for a taste of Italian rustic cuisine served with a side of semi-eclectic charm. As I waltzed in, the host greeted me with a question that made me feel like a VIP: "Do you have a reservation?" Despite the low occupancy, the ambiance was buzzing with potential culinary adventures.Perched at the bar, my trusty solo dining spot, I kicked things off with a bento negroni. A tad bitter for my liking, but hey, it did slow down my sipping pace – a rare feat! The soup of the day, minestrone, beckoned me like a siren, and I succumbed to its hearty embrace. With a flavorful punch and noodles that hugged my taste buds, it was a soup worth surrendering to. And let's not forget the bread – balsamic-infused butter with a sprinkling of sea salt and a mysterious Salsa Verde Pamatino (or something like that). While my pronunciation might need work, the butter was decent, but that salsa verde was the real MVP. Paired with a crusty sourdough roll, it was carb heaven. For the main event, I dove into the Carbonara – a symphony of flavors with meat that danced on my palate like beef jerky (and trust me, that's a compliment). The only hitch? The plate it arrived on played a cruel trick on my eyes, making the portion seem smaller than a side salad at a pasta party. But hey, maybe it was just the plate's illusionist tendencies at play.As for the atmosphere, it was a blend of semi-formal vibes with paper cloth tablecloths and a bar that looked like it was hosting a bottle convention. And let's not forget the curious blue dishwashing tray precariously perched above the bar – a quirky touch for a fine establishment, to say the least.Overall, Portono delivered a solid performance, earning a respectable 4.3 out of 5 stars in my book. Cheers to good food and quirky quirks!

Great little restaurant. Was recommended by a friend, John Mercer. We were going to the Civic Center for a play and was the perfect place for dinner before. Easy parking in a nearby parking lot. Great night! Thanks Patronos!

We were at a table near the bar so the bartender took our drink orders before we were passed off to a wait staff person. The bartender didn't know much about the wine the restaurant serves. The wine list was extensive and hard to navigate.

My 6pm reeevation was honored and I was seated at the bar right away. I ordered a glass of red wine, and was served warm bread with 2 different spreads. I ordered the surf and turf special of filet with a crab cake on top, over potatoes and garlic green beans. I ordered it medium well, but it came out well done. The crab cake was delicious, seasoned well with the perfect crust. For dessert, I had a cappuccino. The customer service was commendable; the bartender and host noticed my discontent with my meal, and compensated me accordingly. I plan to visit again, but will try the pasta instead.

Great time last night. Fantastic Carbonara. Loved the Mushroom Risotto. Also the stuffed prosciutto starter was amazing. Server did a great job! Think his name was Logan.Do yourself a favor and order a add on of their delicious airline grilled chicken.

Overall a good meal. A little disappointed in the mixed salad having one type of lettuce, and small details I expect from an Italian Restaurant such as a pasta spoon, or tiramisu on the dessert menu. The meatballs were delicious and spaghetti cooked perfectly.
