I have a tough time trusting Cajun restaurants. There was a wonderful spot in Midwest City that opened 12-13 years ago by folks displaced by Hurricane Katrina, but they went home years ago. A few years ago, I went on a search for the best crawfish étouffée and came away feeling pretty meh. There is more average Cajun food than good. So I decided to try Rew Orleans for lunch. Absolutely delicious! I had the catfish poboy and my niece had the ribeye poboy and they were both incredible the fries were fabulous the perfect amount of crispy. We also took two desserts to go: the beignets and the bread pudding with rum sauce. Marvelous all of it!! 5 stars in flavor, freshness and reasonable priced. Now let's talk about service. I don't normally write reviews but I am making an exception...I genuinely think this is the best CAJUN FOOD in OKC. I had the Cajun Jam and it was awesome! Cocktails are $5 - $6 and Sunday's are bottomless mimosas!!! Its a hole in the wall with great food, like you're in NOLA.
