We visited for lunch today. I found the diner by chance as we planned to visit a fried pie place around the corner. This was the cheapest meal we had all weekend with six guests and we all left stuffed as the portions were huge. Pancakes, fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, chicken fried steak, cheeseburgers, okra, homemade mac and cheese, and cinnamon rolls- all delicious! The two waitresses were kind, personable, and great at what they do. A thank you for the great meal and service from Nebraska.

Went yesterday and just felt like I needed to leave a comment on this. The environment was super nice. Pretty homey. The prices were okay, kinda high for what the food was. My only complaint is that while I was sitting, our waitress came over and went back to her seat. While she was sitting down she started to spray this pink multisurface cleaner on a paper towel. She continued to wipe the bottom of her shoes and sides. and was flipping this paper towel all over. So the chemical was on her hands at this point since she didn't wear gloves. She only went and used one squirt of hand sanitizer. She then brought our plates over with her thumb on the plate almost touching food.

For the price we were paying, and it being a restaurant. I expect sanitization to be super important. I am food safety certified myself and have worked with food before so I know how important washing your hands is. It made me feel ill just from the thought of the food having her shoe and spray on it, so forsure.. watch out.

I’ve been surprised on how Mya we spent on food here for three and on other restaurants been way less. I will not be bringing a family or anything here. Too much The waitress was rude as well. She forgot things and did not check up on us. I’m better off staying a Woodbridge. Food is way better and price is good for three ppl. The waitress are the best and fast. I wanted to try something new and bad experience for me!!

The very best Hash Browns I've ever tasted. Crispy to perfection, not burnt, perfect. I couldn't do better myself. Coodos to the chef.

Went in to support after seeing a post about this small business being vandalized last month. My experience was great. The food was delicious, everything was hot and fresh. I had the bacon breakfast burrito with home fries in it. Both servers were very attentive and kind. My coffee was never below half full. I’ll be back! :)

First time visiting this place. Absolutely the best breakfast ever! It has that old small hometown diner feel. The coffee is great! You can tell it is made by seasoned waitress, not a kid with a phone in their hand like at the big chain restaurants.

Had a few hours to kill until my next doctor appointment so I decided to stop in for brunch. The service was great, the manager was fantastic and very friendly! I ended up getting the cheese omelet and added some sausage to try and it was all delicious! I will definitely have to come back and try some other items.

It's like Cheers, "you wanna go where everybody knows your name." That is the feeling you get at Scissortail Diner. My wife and I eat there every chance we get. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the dining room is clean. We like it here!

Parking: The handicap spots are literally right outside the entryway. There is enough parking for a much larger restaurant!
