Such a cool little place. The food was excellent, steak cooked just right, and the salad bar was a wonderful surprise for me. It has a speakeasy vibe with the entrance in the alley and the need to push the buzzer to get in. Very nice!

I was looking for a nice place to eat while visiting Ponca and this place did not disappoint. I had the 12 oz steak, baked potato, and cup of potato soup. My aunt ate the salad that came with the steak. The food was delicious and we received a free dessert which was also really good. The waitress was great. So glad we stopped by to check out this place and the secret entrance and door bell were cool too.

Took my wife there this evening for our anniversary..this place was fantastic..our waitress Jennifer (I think) was amazing and very knowledgeable..best waitress I've ever had.. the food was top knotch.... atmosphere was casual upscale.. definitely be stopping by again?

The food was crap my steak was ok but I have had better at Applebees especially considering the price my friend got a ribeye and it was two toothpicks thick and It was very overcooked the waitress was snoody and barely came to us she spent way more time with people who were dressed better don't waste your time here fast food would be better

This restaurant was formerly a speakeasy. So, they've kept the historical vibe by leaving the main entrance in an alley and having a doorbell you ring to get in. The door is locked, until they open it for you.

Our server was awesome! The steak melted in your mouth and was cooked perfectly. The menu say the famous salad bar, but it's actually a rather small salad bar. My wife and I split a 16 ounce ribeye and ordered an extra potato and salad bar. They charged $12 for the salad bar and $8 for a baked potato. So, $20 for 2 sides.

We were just visiting Ponca City, but if we ever go back, we would return to this restaurant, because they do an awesome steak and have great service!
But, the kitchen should remove the foil from the baked today, customers don't need the foil left on the potato ?

Everyone around the Ponca area knows how good The Rust Barrell is. Their cook Thomas is AMAZING!! He is hands down in the best cooks in Ponca City! His steaks are the best!

We had the best waitress tonight! Jen was amazing and took such good care of us. She was working so hard doing multiple jobs. Although they were short staffed she made sure to take care of all of her tables. Thanks again Jen for your hard work 🥰
