Alejo’s Mexican Grill and Bar in Tishomingo is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been to. We haven’t found another within 100 miles in the last year that even comes close. The portions are generous, the food is cooked to perfection every single time, and the flavors are balanced — never over-seasoned or too heavy.

The chips are light and crisp, the salsa tastes homemade and fresh, and the queso always comes out hot and delicious. Every entrée we’ve tried has been prepared excellently, from the classics to the house specialties. You can tell there’s real pride in the kitchen because the quality is consistent visit after visit.

What makes Alejo’s stand out even more is the value. You leave full and satisfied without feeling like you overpaid — which is rare these days. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re just passing through or dining with family and friends.

Whenever we travel through Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Alejo’s Mexican Grill and Bar is a “must-stop” destination. If you’re anywhere nearby, this place is absolutely worth the visit.

My husband, my son and daughter-in law and I were in attendance of Alejo’s grill and bar grand opening and we enjoyed our delicious food, excellent service, friendly staff, amazing Mariachi Band and the dance performance was fantastic! Definitely will recommend this restaurant to all who crave some delicious Mexican cuisine.

Great costumer services great food

The portions to go are extremely small. It does taste decent but this is nothing like a guisado. I wish I could leave a picture so you can see how small this portion is definitely won't be coming back

Good food and great service

Love the food it has plenty of flavor and employees are friendly and always willing to check on you. Name did change but food is still go and the cream cheese churros are amazing as always.
