Bland food, not good, do not come here you will regret it. Chicken doesn't taste like chicken maybe dog or rat? Idk but it's not good whatsoever! Never again!

As someone who grew up eating Chinese and Shanghainese food, this restaurant is a GEM. Every item was made to perfection, just like how I remembered it. Soup dumplings were probably one of the best I've ever had! We tried the Milan Beef Noodle Soup and Assorted Dumplings too -- both were amazing. Can't wait to come back again.

From a Shanghainese person who is on a constant search for great soup dumplings, this place has my vote. Filled with soup and extremely thin breading. The mulan beef noodle soup is also very authentic. Price is a bit high but the value is there. Highly rec

Really perplexed by the positive reviews (or maybe they've gone downhill lately?). We ordered the beef noodle soup, braised pork hand pulled noodles, and pan fried pork buns. Everything was *extremely* mediocre, and the noodles tasted store-bought, not hand-pulled. They were thin and slightly hard instead of chewy. The beef noodle soup was pretty bland. The buns were pretty good, but on the small side. The service was also pretty cold and nonchalant. Overall, left super disappointed and won't be returning.

We stopped by during lunch yesterday around noon and there were 1 other table eating at the time. Service was very lacking. We asked for 3 plates and they never came out. No one came to check on us throughout the meal. We even had to go ask for our own bill to pay. Not sure what was going on but our first impression wasnt great. The restaurant is clean and nice. The 3 dumplings we ordered were also good but other than that service is what make us don't want to come back.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long after trying out fried pork buns in California and oh my I have found a place to quench my cravings! It's also a good portion to not make you so full. If anything, the portions are meant to be shared within two or three people (depending on how much each individual eats) I also got some noodle dishes and they were very yummy. The beef flat rice noodle stir fry was so good. The beef was very soft. 10/10 would recommend :)

Mulan never lets me down! Every thing I've tired from this restaurant is fabulous. The food is always fresh, hot, and served beautifully. You can tell they care about the quality of their food. The staff is friendly you can tell it's a family business. It's my go to comfort food in Carrollton!

I ordered a Mongolian beef, fried rice, & salt & pepper shrimp Taste was great, portion size was good, price was fair, the presentation of the food was great The only down side I would say is the Mongolian beef was a bit sweet/tangy

This place has the best pan-fried pork buns (Sheng jian bao 生煎包) and best soup dumplings (Xiao long Bao 小籠包) I've found so far in the DFW area. They also have some pretty fantastic potstickers (Guo tie 鍋貼). The Crab Soup Dumplings are my favorite and remind me of my favorite crab soup dumplings from a famous Taiwanese restaurant known for their Xiao long Bao, though you can't go wrong with the pork soup dumplings, too. (We usually get one of each kind of soup dumplings, plus orders of the pan fried pork buns and potstickers.) My only gripe is that the prices are a bit high for the # of dumplings they give you, which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

i think i found my new favorite place for soup dumplings!!! they are so flavorful and delicious and hot just as you would want them! so many options for dumplings but my all time favorite are the soup dumplings and the pan fried dumplings. nothing beats those 2!!

This is my first time to give a review, but I really want to give it a five star, their food is yummy and the juice steam dumpling is so good, it's the best dumpling I have in Dallas.

A bad choice. Tried to dine in. Waited an hour until they opened back up for dinner at 4:30. Only one waitress working and she had a very careless and indifferent demeanor. We were the first to sit down when they reopened for dinner. She took our drink order then brought us the drinks. As she brought drinks my girlfriend stated that we are ready to order our food. She looks back at her then goes to the white/asian couple next to us and the woman says that we are ready to order. She then proceeds to take their order as if we didn't come in first and literally just tell her that we were ready to order. Poor service and food is too bland and lukewarm to waste your time going here. Owner/management obviously doesn't really care about service or quality. We walked out on her while she was wasting time going back and forth between the phone and the other couple trying to complete their order.

Dumplings were great! We tried the steamed and the pan fried. Scallion pancakes were a little bland but I still liked it. For our entree we had the beef stir fry with flat noodles and that was pretty tasty. I will go back to try more dishes.

The tufu tastes like mold!I think it maybe expired. We ordered beef vermicelli, when we open it, the smell mold.

While it doesn't travel too well, Mulan still makes some tasty dishes. I particularly enjoyed a bit of the beef flat noodles. Food was well packed and neatly waiting for me to pick up from the bench by the door...I love that procedure that so many restaurants have taken up. The soup dumplings were well done, but since they were takeout, I had to reheat in a boiling pot of water, which may have tempered the original flavor significantly. I would recommend choosing other dumplings until dine-in is more viable. Overall, a nice restaurant, and one of the few Chinese places in the Ranch 99/Super H Mart area. Pretty darn good.
