Mabuhay!Great little Motel in the woods!Clean washrooms and bedding! Quiet and relaxing while we were here in the off season. Great breakfast! Love the coffee not too fancy but gets the job done!The family running the show work hard and you can see it!Definitely not the Hilton but a great place to stop for the night.TV and cable worked great and better than chain hotels!If we stayed longer we wanted to try their dinner menu. Breakfast was a great option and filled the spot!Thank you for a great stay and meal!Rooms: Clean cozy and great for a motel! Not the Hilton but was cozy and clean.Safety: Safe area no issues here. Close community. Busy area in summer.Food & drinks: Great little family restaurant under appreciated!Noteworthy details: Book ahead. Don’t be one of those people who doesn’t show. It’s not much but it’s a good nights sleep and clean!This family works hard to make your stay worthwhile.

Very clean, changed daily, very cooperative and helpful manager of the hotel, always ensuring I was comfortable during my stay. Located right off the road but only hear a hum of the road from time to time - very convenient to travel and also very close to Bancroft for bigger shopping needs. Restaurant on site although did not try which adds additional comfort in addition to some stores in Apsley for some of the daily needs.

Just had breakfast here and the breakfast was top notch, the coffee was not excellent but the speed and quality in the food and service made up for it. I did not use the motel

Had to ask several times when ordering, regarding, Cheddar cheese on a "Grilled Cheese sandwich ".Finally, she, the Cook, server and Cashier, presented a block of Marble Cheese, and I said okay, My sister, wanted Cheddar Cheese, got a BLT instead.Food was pass, however, ask for receipt, no breakdown. Also, $19.50 for a simple Grilled cheese sandwich, BLT, 2 cans of pop, to go.Appears, pretty expensive.We both agreed, not to return.As a Former Chef, and person in business, communication and customer service is Paramount.Two other customers in restaurant, and she the Cook, could not make two simple sandwiches, until her customers food was cooked.Another reason, where we waited 20 minutes, before she started our order.Rating on service 2 starsCommunication 1 starFood quality 4 starsValue 3 starsAtmosphere 4 starsI expect, quality service to match menu expectations.

Updated and clean,New owners again.Avoid the food you will need deep pockets.$7.00 for a fried egg sandwich,$13.00 for a clubhouse with no meat but a slice of processed something,$4.50 for french fries you get my point.
The owners are so kind, their very funny n welcoming great place to pull overfor great meals or cozy rooms.Walkability: Just a five minute walk into town.
