After finishing the 16km trail at Silent Lake, my husband and I stopped at Swiss Bear Cafe Bistro for lunch, and we are so happy we did! We both ordered schnitzel sandwiches with a large fries to share to dine in, and we were shocked how quickly the food was prepared and even more floored with how scrumptious every bite was! The coffee was fresh and the perfect way to end the meal.The inside of the dining area was as cute as could be, really sticking to the ‘bear’ theme! The owner and staff are incredibly kind and have made us want to come back anytime we are out this way again (the food did too but they were just so great!)Thank you a great meal and time!

Wow! A diamond in the woods! Wonderful family run restaurant! Great food and big portions!We had their pierogies as an appetizer!Wow so tasty and love the sweet apple compost with these! A fresh change to a classic! They also come with fried onions and sour cream for those who like those too.The schnitzel and poutine were amazing! Coleslaw super tasty!We also grabbed a few tarts and pie to go! We were stuffed! But tested them out later and we loved them both!Raisin pie (like a butter tart) and pecan pie were both amazing!The cherry and apple tarts were also delicious and worth every bite!If you’re going by here and you’re hungry or not stop in and grab some take out or frozen treats for later!100% recommended!!!Parking: Big parking but can be busy in the summer months! Worth the wait!

Fantastic schnitzel! We had polish style. Extremely flavorful and delicious. One of the best schnitzel I ever had! We had a piece of apple cranberry tart. So good! We were in heaven! The staffs were very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was so lovely. The space was filled with bears!? The owner must be a huge fan. Very inviting and friendly place. I’m a happy customer.

The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic!!The chilli, lasagna, chicken parm, quiches are amazing but also need to mention the selection of tarts as well!!They have a great selectionn of take home frozen meals as well as dine in or take out options.Everything is really good and the service is outstanding!
