Scotch Bonnet Jamaican Grill

5:15 PM today I went to Scotch bonnet to purchase a Cow Foot soup. The young lady who assisted me told me there’s only one size and it’s a small. I cashed out but when I looked on the board the Cow Foot small was for $6.99 and the large $10.99.

The phone rang. She picked up the call in the middle of cashing me out so I waited and then I asked what was the price for the soup? She then stated $10.99.

I told her menu printed $6.99 for SMALL & $10.99 LARGE She said what’s on the menu is not correct and it needs to be updated.

After I pointed out the mistake on the board, she then asked if I wanted the soup for the $ 6.99 I responded “Yes” she proceed to refund me back the difference of the money. .

I visited many times and unfortunately I have encounter numerous of bad experience, but this is my first time deciding to do a review. It’s unfortunate for a new restaurant with so many employees turnover speaks volume.

Training and development is needed. management needs to invest proper training with their employees.

The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the love that goes into it. The lady who served me was so kind and sweet, which made the whole visit even better. She made me feel really welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Jerk chicken was super tiny pieces of chicken, and not to mention, I got food poisoning from it. not a happy customer to say the least.

Peel region food inspection, check before go.

Food was good. fish soup was wonderful price for med food with soup and drink was great I would go back again the gentleman who served me did it with a smile and I appreciate that God bless you sir thank you again

2 small soup and 1 jerk chicken $30 LMFAO. Not 1 piece ah dumpling or food inna di manish wata it’s just broth. I even asked if that’s the right price da bees said yes lol. There desperate for a sale don’t waste your time or money. 2small soup $9 and look at the chicken that cost over $10 dollars.

I had a jerk chicken for lunch today The food was fantastic - lots of flavour and great portion size.

So i got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas, oxtail gravy and some steamed veggie. This cost me 16.99 + tax which was like 19 something. Personally i dont think it was worth it... for a large i was expecting to share with my husband but the way they chinksss on the food. It was like a medium. I wish i took a pic before but your girl was hungry. They gave a little piece of chicken not even a quarter size for that price. They spread out the rice to make it look full. Honestly they gave even so little bit of veggie you can barely tell they put. Food was like 2.5 out of 5. I wish i could have given more but the service was't that welcoming either. So yea... guys you can go anywhere else to get better service and price for food.
