Mansion House Restaurant and Bar

I ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings on the side.
There was only a thin layer of meat and nothing else on the sandwich. It was so dry! I had a hard time swallowing it down.
And only 6 onion rings on the side. I thought my husband ate half without me seeing.
We won't be going back. Its too expensive for such subpar food.

What a pleasant surprise! We had dinner here while up in the area. The new owners have done a fabulous job of re-inventing this place! The service was outstanding! Nika was amazing! We were greeted instantly with a warm smile and vibrant personality. This is the type of service that the industry needs to see more of! The food was amazing, and atmosphere was lively. The new owners were extremely warm and welcoming! We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mansion House offering an mazing atmosphere and staff, great food, relaxing music and reasonable price which all of that makes a very enjoyable dine in experience for everyone. Highly recommended.

Always clean, great service. Love all the different events they offer. Whether it's dirty bingo, to line dancing or just some good ole karaoke. Always fun to be had.

I order my wings from here about 3 times a week. I just had some. Always right to order and delicious. The sauce is so yummy snd when I ask for well done. They come with a perfect crisp. I am very lucky to be a fellow business owner on high st. I will enjoy the amazing food and service for years to come. Thank you tremendously.

We had gone in August for the first time, even after reading the reviews. The place was nearly empty, however we were slow getting our drinks or for someone to take our order. I have allergies so ordered a burger without much on it, but got it fully dressed. The waitress appeared frazzled, and then another woman came out, who we later found out was one of the owners, and completely threw the waitress under the bus (turns out she had only been there two weeks). Anyways, get the right burger, everything is fine. We go to leave and the waitress is getting off and we wanted to be kind and let her know she did an ok job, and she was completely rude to us. So we never went back.Fast forward to Saturday. We decide to order take out and I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and order from the Mansion House. I ordered the burger with nothing on it and it again came full dressed. So my spouse gave me their meal of chicken tenders. My spouse and I ate the same things all day, with the exception of our meal from the Mansion House. Later during the night I woke up with food poisoning.I never wrote a review after our initial experience but undercooked chicken is very dangerous and a restaurant that serves it needs to be held accountable. I wanted to ensure potential customers were aware of this. Would not recommend for eating in or takeout.

I am a member of The Ladies Supper Club in Newmarket. We have over 1,000 local members. Myself and friends attended the High Tea today at Mansion House. We had reservations for 3:30 and arrived on time. We were kept waiting 2 1/2 hours. There were empty tables, but were not seated until 5pm. We then waited another 40 minutes for tea, hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches. By that time I was feeling faint. Food was subpar. We politely expressed our concerns to both managers/ owners, a husband/wife couple. Husband was very rude. Wife was dismissive. Neither could provide a logical explanation as to why the unreasonable wait time. The lack of hospitality and organization was unacceptable. No amends or resolution was offered. In fact at one point, one of my companions told the wife that we did not receive the king crab sandwiches on the menu. She replied "you did". After our insistence that we indeed did not, she said "I'll see what I can do". She never returned. The entire event was a fiasco. I will not recommend this establishment. These people should not be in the restaurant business. I certainly will not return.FYI. I noticed on a previous poor review that owner replied back to customers review saying why post here and not talk to me first? Well, I did speak to you on more than occasion today and was met with a brick wall

I attended a high tea today that I was looking forward to and drove 45 min one way to get to. I arrived at 315 for a 330 seating and was told that it would be a 15 min wait. It turned out to be a 2-hour wait to be seated and fed. We were very dizzy and I had a headache by this time. I asked for a small plate of sandwiches because I am diabetic and they didn't seem to care as I didn't receive any. Why did we stay, you might ask ? Because they kept saying a min more, and we were looking forward to it. They omited food that was on the menu but was not served to us. When I let her know, she told me I was lying. I could go on and on, but I will never return there again. I also hope to save you all from this experience happening to you. What a waste of my money and time. Shame on them. Only silver lining was a great waitress who kept apologize to us for everything .

Based on these poor reviews, it’s no wonder you’re selling ?

We were there on a Friday night before St. Patrick's day. They only had an "Irish menu ". no problem three of us love Bangers and mash. Unfortunately their rendition of bangers is hot dogs that seemed to have been left out too long and microwave potatoes. I wouldn't feed this garbage to a dog. Restaurant was filthy with dusty cobwebs on the decorations above the firplace. Just not at all what you would expect. And to top it off 1 beer, 1 rum & coke, 1 pop and small ceaser salad came with a $55 price tag. The whole experience was very disappointing to say the least.
