Called for take out and couldn’t have been happier. Ordered 20 wings and an order of fish and chips. Everything was delicious, not greasy, tasted fresh and wings were excellent. Wings had a lot of meat on them and cooked to perfection, crispy but not hard. 10/10. It’s now called JJ’s, formally known as Carey’s.

I’m still in shock over how long it took to eat last Friday evening. My table of 8 arrived at 6:30pm and did not have our drink order taken until nearly 30mins into our visit…we were not served our food until ten after 8pm. All we ordered were wings and nachos, and a salad with garlic bread. We watched folks who arrived after us be served their plates and kept being told “ten more minutes” by our server.When the food finally arrived, it tasted fantastic, though I made myself sick due to how quickly I was eating out of desperation.Really, really disappointed by the service, especially since the food quality is so fantastic…the whole experience could’ve been much better.This place could really use a boost in management in terms of proper peak dinner operations.

Lovely little pub. Service and food was great but wouldn't recommend the nachos which had strange toppings - lots of cheese but had large pieces of red onion and olives and nothing else. Not Mexican at all. Meat was extra which we found strange as initial price was kind of expensive. I'd go back if we're ever in Gravenhurst again.

Second time eating at Carey's Pub in the last 2 weeks. It was excellent both times. Group of four people, ordered wings, fries, gravy and onion rings, as well as rabbit food. Definitely going back.

We were a large group returning home from our annual cottage vacation and craved fish & chips. Finding a place that would accommodate 12 people on a Saturday evening was proving to be difficult. So we Googled and found Carey’s Pub. It’s quite the find, a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Most of us ordered fish & chips with an appetizer of wings. Everything was delicious, but the revelation of the evening was the wings. They were the best we’ve had. The service was friendly and attentive (wish I could remember her name) and food arrived piping hot. Will definitely be back.
