A cozy little spot in Dundas. Excellent service and food. They also have a private room in back for groups up to 32.
Always one of my favourite dining experiences.
Very lovely lunch, enjoyed every bite. Recommended.
10/10 beet salad ??
We attended for a special event in the back room and everything was outstanding! The Arctic Char was delicious and others raved about the steak. The server was outstanding and clearly a hard worker.
Was at a private party here. Everything was great.
A menu that will appeal to everybody. Delicious food and friendly service. Decent ambience. Could use a bit of artwork.
A great little place with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food! The service was fantastic and everyone was very helpful and kind.

Delicious! The prices were really reasonable given the current inflationary state of things. No app was over $14, no main was over $32. The most surprising price was the dessert at $10. Drinks were also around $10. We had a mojito, a gin grapefruit splash, a baby kale Caesar salad, the autumn salad, the pasta carbonara and the maple glazed arctic char. Finished with a chocolate terrine. Everything was amazing. Seasonal, house made, and fresh. My spouse said it was the best carbonara he had ever had. Perfectly al dente. Our only complaint was the croutons in the Caesar salad were teeth breakingly hard.Other than that I enjoyed every bite. It's a smaller, more intimate space. But we went on a Thursday evening, so they were able to accommodate.
Got a reservation for dinner after hearing good things about Betula. I saw a pic of the carbonara on Instagram and knew I was going to order it when I came, but was super disappointed by it in person. Instead of pork lardons, it was literally just two pieces of extremely well done bacon on top of the pasta dish. Really felt like an after thought, and was completely different than the photos I saw advertised on their Instagram page. Tried some of my partner’s burger and it was a fine. The French onion soup was good and so was the cup of coffee I ordered. The service was great, no complaints there. Kind of bummed about my experience overall.
A hidden gem! Definitely want to go back to try their seasonal
